NORTHEAST CITY BOY MOVEMENT EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

The Coordinator, City Boy Movement Akko LGA Chapter, Hon. Aliyu Umar Shagamu (Dawisun Akko), is fully prepared for the forthcoming Northeast City Boy Movement Empowerment Programme in Maiduguri, Borno State.

The Gombe State delegation, under the leadership of Hon. Mubarak Hamisu Usman, will be represented by a strong team of 10 delegates, including the Chief of Staff, State Coordinator, and other key State Executives, demonstrating the commitment and organizational strength of the Gombe State Chapter.

NORTH-EAST CITY BOY MOVEMENT EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

As the Gombe State Chapter of the City Boy Movement prepares to join other State Chapters at the North-East City Boy Movement Empowerment Programme in Maiduguri, Borno State, the Coordinator, City Boy Movement Akko LGA Chapter, Hon. Aliyu Umar Shagamu (Dawisun Akko), is set to represent the Local Government Coordinators at the programme.

His representation reflects the confidence reposed in his leadership, capacity, and commitment to the growth of the movement at the grassroots. It is also an opportunity to strengthen collaboration, broaden networks, and further advance the interests of our youths and communities within the movement.

The Gombe State delegation is scheduled to depart as follows:

City Boy Movement Gombe State Welcomes APC National Chairman’s Visit

The City Boy Movement Gombe State warmly welcomes Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and appreciates his visit to the National Headquarters of the City Boy Movement.

The visit provided an important opportunity for meaningful interaction and exchange of ideas on the growth and development of Nigeria, while highlighting the commitment, energy and growing political awareness of young Nigerians.

The Director of City Boy Movement Gombe State, Hon. Mubarak Hamisu Usman Appreciates the National Chairman for his encouraging words and recognition of the important role Nigerian Youths continue to play in the nation’s political future.

As we approach 2027, City Boy Movement Gombe State remains committed to mobilising young Nigerians in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu while promoting responsible leadership, political participation and national development.

NORTH-EAST EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

ON 27 AUGUST 2026

The City Boy Movement, in partnership with relevant stakeholders and with the support of the Co-Patron, Son of His Excellency Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is advancing a strategic empowerment initiative aimed at strengthening youth participation and economic inclusion across the North-East.

The programme is designed to promote skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, employment opportunities, and sustainable economic empowerment, while creating a stronger platform for young people to contribute meaningfully to the development of the region.

The participation of Hon. Aliyu Umar Shagamu (Dawisun Akko), Coordinator, City Boy Movement Akko LGA Chapter, further represents the growing grassroots leadership and youth-focused political engagement within the movement.
