*DEMOCRACY DAY: KAB HAILS NIGERIANS, COMMENDS TINUBU, ABDULRAZAQ, SAYS CHALLENGES CAN BE OVERCOME WITH UNITY*
The former Kwara State House of Assembly Commission member and founder of KAB Constructions Limited, Dr. Kehinde Alex Bankole (KAB) has congratulated the good people of *Isin/Ekiti/Irepodun/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency*, Kwara State, and Nigerians at large on the occasion of this year Democracy Day and Nigeria's 27th anniversary of uninterrupted democratic governance.
In a statement issued to commemorate Democracy Day, *Dr. Kehinde Alex Bankole* noted that June 12 remains a significant chapter in Nigeria's democratic history and a reminder of the sacrifices made by patriotic Nigerians in the struggle for democratic rule. He paid tribute to the *late Chief M.K.O. Abiola* and other heroes of democracy whose courage, resilience, and commitment helped lay the foundation for the democratic system being enjoyed today.
According to him, the day presents an opportunity for Nigerians to reflect on the nation's democratic journey, appreciate the progress made over the years, and renew their commitment to the principles of justice, accountability, unity, and good governance.
Dr. Bankole acknowledged that the country is currently facing various economic and social challenges but expressed confidence that such challenges are surmountable through collective efforts, national unity, and the active participation of all citizens in nation-building. He emphasized that sustainable development and national progress can only be achieved when Nigerians work together in pursuit of the common good.
The real estate mogul also congratulated *President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,* for his leadership role and commitment to deepening democracy and advancing national development. He equally commended the *Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON,* for his dedication to good governance and the developmental strides being recorded across the state.
Dr. Bankole further stated that Democracy Day serves as a celebration of the power of the people and the enduring strength of Nigeria’s democratic ideals while urging Nigerians to continually uphold the values of justice, peace, unity, and inclusive governance, and remain hopeful about the nation’s future, adding that come what may, Nigeria will be great again.
