COMR. SEN. EKOM PETER AYAKA HOLDS STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENT WITH NAPS, NANS STAKEHOLDERS, RECEIVES GO-AHEAD NOD
Earlier today, Comr. Sen. Ekom Peter Ayaka a student of IMAP held a strategic engagement with critical stakeholders comprising NAPS, NANS, and student Senators from various tertiary institutions across Nasarawa State.
Institutions represented at the engagement included College of Agriculture, Science and Technology Lafia, College of Nursing Sciences and Midwifery Lafia, Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic Lafia, among others.
During the engagement, Comr. Sen. Ekom Peter Ayaka officially made his declaration known to the stakeholders and members of the press, while also briefing them on his vision, plans, and leadership mantra for the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS).
Speaking during the meeting, he emphasized the need for purposeful, inclusive, and progressive leadership that will prioritize the welfare, representation, and advancement of polytechnic students across the country and beyond.
In their separate remarks, stakeholders and the NAPS North Central Coordinator commended his leadership qualities, grassroots connection, and commitment to student unionism, while giving him a resounding go-ahead nod ahead of the forthcoming NAPS leadership process.
The engagement also featured interactive sessions where participants expressed confidence in his capacity to provide impactful, result-oriented, and student-focused leadership for Nigerian polytechnic students.
The event marks another significant step in consultations and stakeholder engagement ahead of the forthcoming NAPS leadership process.
