Agriculture is the foundation of food security, economic growth and sustainable livelihoods.

Yesterday, Wednesday, 12th August 2026, alongside my wife, Hajiya Rukaiyya Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, Kwalliyar Lafia, I was pleased to flag off our Statewide Agricultural Empowerment Programme, beginning with the Western Senatorial District.

This initiative is our modest contribution towards supporting our farmers, increasing food production, creating opportunities and strengthening the livelihoods of our people.

With farm inputs and ₦1 million support for each of the 59 electoral wards, we are taking this intervention directly to the grassroots.

I believe in empowering our people to become more productive and self-reliant. Together, we can build a stronger and more prosperous Nasarawa State.

INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAYHI RAJI'UN

I received with profound sadness the news of the passing of Alhaji Ahmed Bage (Dan Kade of Lafia).
His death is indeed a painful loss to his family, friends, associates, the entire Lafia community and the Lafia Emirates Council.

At this difficult moment, I extend my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. I share in their grief and pray that Almighty Allah gives them the strength and patience to bear this great loss.

May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, expand and illuminate his grave, and grant him eternal rest in Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

Today, I joined family members, friends, and sympathizers at Anguwan Liman, Lafia LGA, to attend the Janazah prayer of the beloved mother of Imam Muhammad Ali.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to the entire family over this painful loss. I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives her shortcomings, showers her with His boundless mercy, grants her Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and gives her loved ones the strength and patience to bear this great loss. I received with profound sadness the news of the passing of the beloved mother of Imam Muhammad Ali.

On behalf of my family and associates, I extend my heartfelt condolences to Imam Muhammad Ali, his family, and all loved ones over this painful loss.

I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives her shortcomings, showers her with His infinite mercy, expands and illuminates her grave, and grants her the highest station in Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

May Allah also grant Imam Muhammad Ali, the entire family, and all those mourning her passing the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

I sincerely appreciate my beloved wife, Her Excellency Hajiya Rukaiyya Adamu (Kwalliyar Lafia), for her unwavering dedication to serving our people through her thank-you visits and grassroots engagements across the wards of Karu, Toto, and Nasarawa Local Government Areas.

Her humility, compassion, and commitment to appreciating our mothers, sisters, and daughters at the grassroots continue to inspire hope and strengthen our shared vision for a better Nasarawa State.

To the good people of all the wards in Karu, Toto, and Nasarawa LGAs, I express my heartfelt gratitude for your warm reception, prayers, and steadfast support. The love you have shown throughout these engagements is deeply appreciated and will never be taken for granted.
