my mum has come and realese me , I was so happy and hug my mum tears of joy were flowing from my eyes. when I got home I asked my mum wat happen to my friend and her reply stunned me
well Amara ur friend disappear the day the police caught you and since then the police have been looking for her some said she has left town others said she his bidding
I shock my head and said the proverb out our people do say wat a man sees from the ground if a child climb the highest tree he won't see it now I believe it. I hug my mum and apologize in putting her in so much trouble and worrying for me

chapter 2 The struggle 😓😓
2 Weeks after my mum advice i started to keep a distance away from adaugo. but it was very difficult, i became withdrawal and isolated and i stopped participating in activities that i once enjoy, i knew i cant continue to living like this. i felt like i was drowning in my own struggles and i was not able to keep my head above the water. but i know my parent knows better.
Things became clearer on Monday when adaugo came to school panting like someone who had farm 2 plot of land, i asked her what sup, and her reply was " amara pls help me to hold my bag i am coming let me go and wash my face, with a clear mind i pick her bag and help her to keep it not knowing this girl have runaway leaving a bag un my hands. it didnt reach up to minute when the police came into our school looking for a girl who back a black bag with design of Gucci on it , unfortunately for me i was with the bag backing it the police man walj up to me and ask me who gave me the back i said it was my friend the police man did not allow me to finish before saying I am under arrest i was shocked i couldn't even explain myself the only thing that came toy mind was my mother remembering the words she told me last week. i cried but they didnt even look my face this was when i know police are not friendly they took me to there station. when i got there I was already crying i was only thinking about my poor mother who is at home thinking i will soon come back from school. at around 5 o'clock the police called my mum and ask me if I want to speak to her i was in tears already i explained everything to her before i finish my mum was already in tears she ask me amara i warned didn't i i told u to be careful of that girl. but know she is know where to be found. my only reply to her was yes mama u did warn me of adaugo. after we both console ourselves my mum cut the call. the next day my mum borrow money from her friends and numerous people and places before 12 my mum

The advice
my mother was the best any one could ever wish to have she was the best mother i ever had.
i could remember the times when my mum will call me sit me down and advice me about the good and bad of this life.
I could still remember the last advice she gave me before she passed on.
One sunny afternoon my mum called me and sat me down she started my eulogizing me calling me diffrent names "my heart beat , my joy, my hope, my sunshine in stormy weather, my amarachi" what is it mama this one u are pras8ng me like this is 3verything all right i asked her
she replied "everything is alright my dear but i don't like the people u are following, i am hearing different complain about the people u are following, what is the name of that girl that is dark and is chubby, and use to follow u always?" mama the mama i start to praise are "mama her name is adaugo. she is a good girl mama" i said "hmmm good girl, and people are calling her all sort of name,is that one good girl? amara tell me is that one a good girl" she stood up annoyed and turn toward me and asked once more.
i was already scared and answered quickly " no ma" i quickly say a short prayer in my mind that my mum shouldn't end up telling my dad.
when she calm down she called me and gave me some money and told me bot to be annoyed at the way she shouted on me that she was annoyed and does not like the way people are calling her daughter thief because she has a friend 2ho is a thief , so my dear please separate yourself from tgem remember the child u are she said to me. when she was done talking i hugged her........
