Amy Chesterfield inhaled softly trying to encourage herself as she stood at the highest peak of the crowded hallway looking down at the set of student she saw.
Some were gossiping about one or two things that happened during the weekend while others were just minding their businesses.
She had to do this.
Being a motivational speaker at times wasn't the coolest thing to be in a high school filled with bunch of naughty students, but she loved what she did. She tried helping depressed students, aggressive ones and more you could think of.
She cleared her throat.
"Hey everyone." she said with a loud voice.
Almost a scream actually.
Then the buzz of various conversations halted and all eyes were suddenly on her.
She froze.
Among them was Becca the meanest kid in school and of cause she was with her devious crew with their eyes all painted with black mascara to make them look more meaner.
Oh how she despised them but on the brighter side she could try to change them, she snorted
Not in this life.
"What's up nerdy" Becca said.
Amy frowned.
"You wanna play or you want some fist"she continued, everyone ohhed.
Becca smiled enjoying the whole scenario while Amy bit her lips trying to suppress the anger that coursed through her.
"No... I mean I wanna say one or two things that might be of help to some people for example the depressed, weak and so on "she said.
"Get on with it already, you only have some few minutes cause I g*t stuffs to do and before everyone get all sleepy " Becca said picking something under her nails.
Amy blinked.
Was she dreaming, Becca actually told her to get on with her speech without any form of bullying.
She smiled. Well is now or never.
"Okay, thanks. First of all I wanna ask_
She slowly got over her fears and started speaking confidently, she was delighted to see the eager faces staring up at her, some were taking notes while others asked questions that she was about answering when she heard the blaring noise coming from outside.
She held her ears with her hands and groaned in frustration when she saw what caused the noise.
"The Usos" as they called themselves, they came in playing some latest hit on a loud annoying stereo distributing pizza from boxes to boxes.
"The Usos" was just their nickname.
Daniel and David Perkins were their names. They were the most notorious students in Lake ville high even the principal hate getting into their mess, they were trouble.
Based on the fact that their parent were billionaires, the boys were spoilt rotten and also, most of the donations made in school were mostly made by their parent.
These guys were feared and respected in school so they did whatever they like to whoever they wanted to without being questioned.
But she had just had enough.
She said to herself, boiling with anger as she gingerly made her way to the damn stereo and turned it off then she exhaled.
Everywhere became quiet and calm. Slowly "The Usos" boys turned her direction.
At that instant the realisation of what she had just done hit her hard but she stood her ground.
"What the heck "
David she thinks snarled.
They were really hard to differentiate but she had her way of doing that.
He slowly walked towards her when she didn't response, she just swallowed hard waiting for what will befall her.
Her actions really knew how to get her into trouble.
"What the hell was that for!"he yelled angrily.
"You are ruining my speech"She replied looking at him straight into his eyes.
Those adorable eyes.
But that wasn't the case.
"So? who do you think you are bitch" he said frowning menacingly at her.
He really wanted to know, well she will spell it out for him.
"A human, more human than you will ever be" she foolishly blurted out. She chewed her cheeks from inside waiting for his next move.
He chuckled "Yunno what girl, I wanted to let this slide but I see you got some nerve than I thou_".
"I think is high time you and your junkies get the hell out of here now am asking politely " she said cutting him short.
She swallowed wondering where all this was coming from cause her stomach did a flip flop inside her.
She was really tired of the way this twins go around putting fear into the heart of weak students.
His eyes burned as he glared at her, she mentally shrank back because he was way taller than her maybe almost six feet, he was so intimidating
"Wow.....so much gut, like do you even know who I am maybe you were born in the 50s where you live in a cave. I am David Perkins, Oh...I see you won't know because Ill luck has blinded you and you petty family" he said smiling when he saw the way his word hit her.
People laughed, cheering and high fiving him. She felt like stabbing him a hundred time on his grinning face.
No one speak Ill of her family and go scout free she will show him just that.
"Well I might have been blinded by Ill luck but you, I don't think you will ever excel in what you do yunno why, cause its you its all you and your damn stupid crew. All you guys do is to go around making people afraid of you guys but am sorry to disappoint you am not them am me, Amy Chesterfield and I don't tolerate people interrupting me when i do my thing" she finished breathing hard
"Son of a..." David cursed and lurched at her, but someone held him pulling him back
"What the hell are we interrupting"a calm but angry voice asked.
She turned to see Daniel the second half of the twins staring angrily at her.
OMG!!!
Wasn't Daniel just so perfect.
She said to herself as her stomach swayed.
She leveled her gaze.
Realising what she had just done, she squared her shoulders and looked up at him but it didn't help matters he was too gorgeous for her to handle.
She had had a crush on Daniel when she had gotten transferred weeks ago but after knowing who he was and how he played girls she had started to despise him but she hadn't know she didn't fully despised him until this moment.
She had to get a grip on her emotions.
"As you can see I was just in the middle of a speech, so can you kindly take your brother and his Manics out of here this minute" She said trying to sound sweet that she had to hold herself from batting her lashes
"Dany just let me put this bitch in her place" David said pacing around as student watched anxiously.
"Hang in there bro" he said to his brother. "We will put her in her place" Daniel added glaring at her.
