Face of God

There is something about the spiritual state of man that permits him to function like God. Just like when Jacob had an encounter with God, he became like Adam who name a thing by its divine name according to the mind of God and that name remained the same till today (Genesis 2:19).

Jacob named the place Peniel—"face of God"—for he said, "I have seen God face to face, yet my life has been spared." (Genesis 32:30).

The attestation to the fact that a man has encountered God is that such man will not only begin to function like God but also fulfill the scriptures that testify that ‘ye are gods and the children of the Most High’ calling things as though they be and naming things according to how it is in the mind of God almighty. There is a spiritual posture that all men who will carry out the intentions and the mandate of God must assume, even though this posture is granted like access to those whom the Father chooses. nonetheless, it is expedient that everyone named with the name of God must seek to find that place where as a prince, you will wrestle and prevail with God and men so that a dimension of God can be revealed to many through your yieldedness and divine experience. Why not let your loneliness, your desolations, your hunger, thirst, and desperation lead you to that God who will show you those great and mighty things which the eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, and are yet to come to the minds of men so that nations can glorify your Father in heaven “Selah”.

Verily, I say unto you, unless a grain of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone; but if it dies, it bringeth forth much fruit. These were the words of Christ and as the express image and the eternal intention of God the Father, He likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil (John 12:24).

I pray that the resurrection of Jesus the Christ brings you the promise of light and life abundantly.

The Moabite and Amorite

Who will rise and save this generation from their unending drift away from the statute and commandment of God? The whole world have gone astray from me saith the Lord. All like lost sheep have gone astray and the sins of the fathers keep on chasing down many, slaying in thousands and ruining beautiful souls.

On that same day, as the Book of Moses was being read, the people found a statement which said that no Ammonite or Moabite should ever be permitted to enter the assembly of God (Nehemiah 13:1).

Many afflictions can be traced to the errors of the past generations and the decisions made in an attempt to escape pains and sufferings. We have been given life through the living word and if we continue in the gospel that has been preached to us and if accompanied with unwavering hearts to do the will of God, praying in the Holy Ghost and working actions with our faith. We will not only save ourselves but save the coming generations who will forever glorify God for our total obedience and consistency with the instructions given to us. For the generation of the uprights not to fall into the pit of the immoral offspring of their relatives, those who rejected the laws of the Lord, refusing to obey him. Being led astray by the same lies that deceived their ancestors (Amos 2:4). We must separate ourselves for the good works, plead the blood of Jesus Christ and stay true to that which we have seen and heard from the beginning of our faith journey.

Babylon once again

Weaken their walls, cut down the trees and dislodge their stands. Their faithfulness is found wanting and their God has turned against them. Their shield and their towers are no more. They now have so little power and are such easy prey. Helpless as the grass, as easily trampled as tender green shoots. They are like grass sprouting on a housetop, easily scorched by the sun (Isaiah 37:27).

Then I heard another voice calling from heaven, "Come away from her, my people. Do not take part in her sins, or you will be punished with her (Revelation 18:4).

Babylon is coming back in its full flesh. A city void of God, ever denying the power and supremacy of the Almighty. Her god is her desires and the strongest men in her are without order and balance, all clothed in their wife's robe, made to dance while their female children watch them in the pinnacle of their folly and shame. All the nations can't resist being drunk in the wine of her passionate immorality. The rulers of the world must commit adultery with her, and merchants throughout the world will grow rich as a result of her luxurious living" (Revelation 18:3). Their men are nursing mothers and their women are made to pick up the swords. The chief officers in her are swift to give every man a new name, a new status, a new title, new food to defile the temple (Daniel 1:7). For the earth to pine away and come to its end, good must first be evil spoken of. Then the just and the righteous must be as them who stand in the way of freedom. where do you stand o daughter of Zion?

New relationship

Being renewed is a proof that things are not the same as they use to be. God does not only restore a thing, He also renews it and brings forth a more excellent nature of that thing. Not copying the behavior and customs of this world, but letting God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will is (Romans 12:2)

Jesus took the cup of wine after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant between God and you, sealed by the shedding of my blood. Do this in remembrance of me as often as you drink it" (1Corinthians 11:25).

The promise of God to renew us is a great promise for us all. Jesus Christ said in his word that no one can put new wine in an old wineskin therefore the things that God is going to do in our lives require that we become new to receive the new things that our lives need. His words assures us that the nations will see our righteousness. Kings will be blinded by our glory. And the Lord will give you a new name. Never again will you be called the Godforsaken City or the Desolate Land. Your new name will be the City of God's Delight and the Bride of God, for the Lord delights in you and will claim you as his own. And I will give you a new heart with new and right desires, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony heart of sin and give you a new, obedient heart(Ezekiel 36 : 26). What a lovely gift and a perfect time to receive such a gift that God has prepared for you. So, dear brothers and sisters, whatever situation you were in when you became a believer, stay there in your new relationship with God (1Corinthians 7:24).

The ears of fools

It is eminent that our life should receive every resources needed for living, living a godly life with contentment. When Jesus the Christ reminded satan the devil that the well-being of man is not based on the abundance of the food he gets but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of his maker, Christ is at the same moment exposing the devil's attempt to cut man from the important sustaining element of his existence.

Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from what we believe; they will follow lying spirits and teachings that come from demons and with their newly found ways in corruption, they'll utterly say in their heart that there is no God. Who is God to ever match our wisdom and exposure, right teaching be far from us they’ll say: for we want to sort out teachers who will tell us what we want and nurture the wicked desires of our heart.

When you preach the word of God. Being persistent through favorable and unfavorable times while patiently correcting, rebuking, and encourage the people with good teachings. only the ears of fools will close before the words get to their gate because doing wrong is fun to the fool while wise conduct is a pleasure to the wise (Proverbs 10:23) and because the foolish refuse to acknowledge God, he then abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives become full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. Indeed the foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the Lord. Hence don't just rebuke the devil when evil thrive in you, rather check if the word of God still finds its way to your ears or not.

I waited for you

Love is simple but yet complex in virtue, the love commandment is a commandment often mistaken for a soft affectionate approach but yet its nature is precise in all dealings. When the lord commanded us to love one another has he hath loved us, Christ was emphatically saying we should burn for others when all seems cold (John 13:34).

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

When God sends us out to the world to preach the gospel, we become an advocate for the lost and broken, not as a judge but as a conveyer of the intention and love of the father to the world and because we now know the law and judgment of God unto every righteous and unrighteous work, we may be caught in the web of throwing the baby and the bath out the window like Jonah who awaits the wrath of God on that city. God is still speaking to you also that should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left—and much livestock?” (Jonah 4 : 10-11). I brought you into the knowledge of light, should I not bring others? I saved your soul from hell and grave, should I not save others? I've loved you from the beginning of the earth, should I not love others? I waited for you, should I not wait for others?. This is how the task is done, we fulfill the mandate when we take our light and seek to shine it in the dark not keeping our light among other lights.

Lie in wait to deceive

When the serpent deceived Eve and told her to seek dominion outside the given law of God, the deception was so logic that anyone void of the counsel of God or subjected to self pursuit will root for such opinion and get burnt. To think that the thoughts and ideas which the serpent projects means no harm is often laughable.

Don’t be deceived, the devil come only to steal,kill and destroy. He will logically preach rebellion to you in form of self liberation.

It is the desire of satan to rule over you for he knows that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness (Romans 6 : 16). No wonder the scriptures attest to it that the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the lord God had made, laying in wait to deceive through cunning craftiness. Forever ready to deceive anyone who thinks of himself as a free entity not subject to any influence. I beseech you brethren to let every word from God form the template for your living. Living by bread alone is not the plan of God but of the devil to keep your focus on the things which have no eternal relevance. This world is pining away and she’s taking everyone available along. May we remain overcomers through the blood of the lamb and the testimonies of our mouth in Christ.

Anna the prophetess

Even though your heart is found in between the two paths called the good and the evil. Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment? (Micah 3:1)

Choose the lord and His counsel and you shall live, become wiser than your enemies through his commandments. Having more understanding than all the teachers: for His testimonies are for meditation. Understanding beyond the ancients, for keeping His precepts (Psalms 119:98-101).

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: Those who retained not God in their knowledge, given over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD and like Anna the prophetess and Simeon, who's destiny was to call forth the Messiah, being separates from the desires of life and service to other gods, gave birth to Christ through groanings that can not be uttered but seen in intercession with flames of fire rising to the lord with the word "thy kingdom come, thy kingdom come.

All souls are mine

All souls are mine, as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine saith the Lord God and as I live, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge.

For the law of the LORD is perfect, able to convert the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether (Psalms 19:7-9).

So if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, and hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman, and hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment; He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man, Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel 18:5-9)
