I’ve been watching the Ratel Movement for a while now and I can’t help but notice what appears to be a shift from a fan community to something more concerning.

What started as a movement driven by shared ideals now seems to be evolving into a group where disagreement is often met with hostility rather than dialogue…. Anyone who questions the narrative or criticizes a member can quickly become the target of coordinated online attacks.

The recent exchanges involving with Princewill only reinforced that concern for me. Rather than encouraging healthy debate, many reactions seemed focused on intimidation, insults and silencing opposing voices.

Every community has the right to defend itself but there’s a fine line between loyalty and bullying. When supporters begin acting as judge, jury and executioner on social media, the movement risks losing the very values it claims to stand for.

If this trend continues unchecked, I worry that it will become increasingly difficult for anyone, even its own leader to call members to order.
Strong communities are built on accountability not blind allegiance.

That’s my observation and I hope there’s room for reflection before things go further.

Dear Ronaldo FC and everybody wey swear say FIFA don already write script for Argentina to win the 2026 World Cup…

How market? 😂

Una shout “agenda”, “VARgentina”, “FIFA don plan am” from group stage reach final. Na Spain come carry cup spoil the whole storyline.

The GOAT debate fit continue till tomorrow as una no wan agree say Messi is the GOAT but this one show say football no dey always follow social media prophecy.

Congratulations, Spain! Una scatter the “script” finish. 🇪🇸🏆😂

The more I think about this story, the less interested I am in the headlines… and the more interested I am in the gaps.

We’re being told this was an alleged fake agency.

Okay….

But how does an alleged fake agency get this far?

How does it allegedly have office space?

How does it reportedly operate with an account at the Central Bank?

If public funds were allocated to it, who approved that and under what authority?

Who signed the documents? Who processed them? Who verified them? At what point did someone realize something wasn’t right?

These are the questions I can’t stop asking.

Because if an agency that allegedly didn’t exist could get this far, then this isn’t just about one individual. It’s about the systems that allowed it to happen or failed to stop it.

Forget the politics for a second.

Nigerians deserve clear, evidence based answers. Not because of who’s being mentioned but because if we don’t understand how this happened, we leave the door open for it to happen again.

WHEN SURVIVAL STARTS TO SOUND LIKE A NATIONAL PLAN

The recent encouragement for Nigerians to go into small street food businesses like akara, roasted corn, and kulikuli.

While those trades are honest, hardworking ways to earn a living and many people already depend on them, the bigger question is whether they are being presented as a main solution to our economic challenges.

For many families, the concern is not willingness to work, but the rising cost of living, unstable income, lack of infrastructure, and limited access to decent paying jobs. Turning more people toward informal micro businesses without addressing these deeper issues can feel like shifting responsibility to individuals instead of fixing the system.

It also risks normalizing survival level work as the plan for a country with so much potential. Small businesses matter, yes, but they should be part of a broader economy that also creates opportunities for growth, stability, and dignity at scale.

People don’t just want to hustle harder every day, they want to see a future where hard work actually leads to progress.

Just a thought worth reflecting on.
