It was a pleasure to deliver the welcome address at the Nigeria Risk Leadership Summit and Awards as the Director of Programmes for this year's edition.
The theme, "Anticipatory Governance, Risk and Foresight: Preparing Nigeria for a Resilient and Inclusive Future," provided an opportunity to engage with risk management professionals, policymakers, and industry stakeholders while sharing ideas on building a more robust and efficient risk management approach capable of anticipating new and emerging challenges.
During my address, I emphasised the need for multi-sectoral collaboration as the pathway to a sustainable corporate governance system.
I added that, as risk management professionals and captains of industry, we must commit to frameworks capable of anticipating change and building the resilience needed to address today's challenges and meet the demands of the future.
