Osun election: I’ll call Trump if anything goes wrong — Davido

SHOCKING: Cardinal Onaiyekan EXPLODES: “You Rigged the Election… Then Tell Us to Go to Court Where Judges Turn Black into White!”

In a powerful outdoor interview that’s now going viral, Cardinal John Onaiyekan did not hold back.

The respected Catholic leader looked straight into the cameras and declared that Nigerians must refuse to accept a country where elections are openly rigged… and the only answer given is “go to court.”

He warned that this dangerous practice has real consequences, and he didn’t mince words about the courts either; the same courts that some say can turn black into white.

Coming amid rising tension over the 2027 elections and claims that the government is determined to win “by all means,” the Cardinal’s message is clear and explosive: Enough is enough. The people’s votes must count, not be decided in courtrooms after the damage is done.

This is the kind of truth many are afraid to speak. Cardinal Onaiyekan just said it out loud.

THE DAWN OF A NEW POLITICAL ERA: HON. DR. BENJAMIN ORDUEN GBE, Ph.D., THE RISING VOICE OF JECHIRA AND THE NEXT CHAPTER OF GREAT LEADERSHIP

7 August 2026

History has never been kind to societies that fail to recognise greatness while it is still emerging. Every remarkable chapter in the story of Nigeria began with individuals whose dreams appeared bigger than their circumstances. Before they became national icons, they were simply men who chose service over comfort, sacrifice over personal gain, and the future of their people over political convenience. The struggle for Nigeria's independence and the foundation of democratic governance were not built by ordinary politicians. They were built by extraordinary patriots like Sir Ahmadu Bello, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, and Chief Joseph Sarwuan Tarka. These great statesmen did not merely occupy public offices. They built institutions, mentored young leaders, defended justice, promoted education, strengthened agriculture, protected the interests of ordinary citizens, and laid the foundation upon which modern Nigeria continues to stand.

Chief Obafemi Awolowo transformed the Western Region through visionary leadership, introducing free primary education, expanding healthcare, developing infrastructure, and proving that government exists first to improve the lives of the people. Sir Ahmadu Bello devoted himself to developing Northern Nigeria by investing in education, empowering young people, strengthening institutions, and producing a generation of leaders who would continue his vision. Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa demonstrated uncommon humility, patriotism, diplomacy, and national unity as Nigeria's first Prime Minister, showing that leadership is measured by service rather than personal ambition. Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, the legendary Zik of Africa, inspired millions through intellectual excellence, fearless nationalism, and an unwavering belief that education and visionary leadership could transform Africa. Chief Joseph Sarwuan Tarka became the fearless voice of the Middle Belt, defending justice, protecting the rights of his people, championing agriculture, and ensuring that minority communities had a respected place within Nigeria's political structure. These men became immortal because they chose to serve generations they would never live to meet.

Today, history is opening another page in Jechira Federal Constituency. The political journey of Hon. Dr. Benjamin Orduen Gbe, Ph.D. is not merely another campaign for elective office. It is the beginning of a leadership philosophy that reflects the vision, courage, discipline, and people centred ideals demonstrated by Nigeria's founding statesmen. His aspiration to represent the good people of Jechira Federal Constituency is the first step in a journey that echoes the enduring principles of Obafemi Awolowo, Ahmadu Bello, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Tafawa Balewa, and Joseph Sarwuan Tarka. Like every great leader in history, every remarkable journey begins with a single opportunity to serve.

Hon. Dr. Benjamin Orduen Gbe represents a generation that understands that public office is a sacred trust. His leadership is founded on integrity, intellectual excellence, accessibility, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people. His rise is not intended to elevate one man alone. It is a rising that will spread like a protective covering over Jechira Federal Constituency, extending hope to struggling families, opportunities to young people, encouragement to farmers, dignity to women, support for students, and renewed confidence to communities longing for purposeful representation. His leadership promises to embrace every segment of society without discrimination, ensuring that no voice is ignored and no community is left behind.

As a legislator, Hon. Dr. Benjamin Orduen Gbe is prepared to champion laws that strengthen democracy, deepen good governance, and guarantee accountability in public service. He seeks to protect the constitutional rights of the people, promote human capital development through quality education and skills acquisition, encourage agricultural development by supporting farmers with policies that improve productivity and food security, expand educational opportunities for students through scholarships and better learning facilities, and pursue programmes that create employment and sustainable economic growth. His vision is one where government works for the people, where public resources are managed responsibly, and where development reaches every ward and every community across Jechira Federal Constituency.

History reminds us that Obafemi Awolowo once began as a young visionary. Ahmadu Bello once began as a young reformer. Nnamdi Azikiwe once began as a young nationalist. Tafawa Balewa once began as a young teacher committed to building a nation. Joseph Sarwuan Tarka once began as a determined young son of the Middle Belt who refused to abandon his people. None of them became legends overnight. Their greatness was built through consistent service, unwavering principles, and an unshakable commitment to humanity. Today, Hon. Dr. Benjamin Orduen Gbe begins his own journey with those same enduring values, carrying the hopes of Jechira Federal Constituency and believing that genuine leadership is measured not by titles but by the number of lives transformed.

The future of Jechira Federal Constituency belongs to leaders who possess vision, integrity, courage, competence, and compassion. It belongs to leaders who understand that representation means defending the people, protecting democracy, promoting education, empowering youths, strengthening agriculture, uplifting the vulnerable, and leaving behind a legacy that future generations will celebrate. Hon. Dr. Benjamin Orduen Gbe embodies this new generation of leadership. His journey is only beginning, but every great journey in history has always started with one determined step. As he rises, Jechira rises with him. As he serves, the people will flourish. As he leads with honour and excellence, the story of Jechira Federal Constituency will become a shining example of purposeful representation in Benue State and Nigeria.
