PLANTING TODAY FOR A GREENER TOMORROW

In commemoration of World Environment Day 2026, the Executive Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Prince Lanre Sanusi, joined the Supervisor for Environment, Hon. Ibrahim Balogun, the Special Adviser on Drainage and Waste Management, and officials of the Environmental Department in a tree-planting exercise aimed at promoting a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable environment.

The exercise reflects the administration’s commitment to environmental conservation, climate resilience, and community well-being. Residents were encouraged to support efforts geared towards keeping Amuwo-Odofin clean and environmentally friendly.

DR. OMOLARA OLARENWAJU SANUSI COMMENCES DISTRIBUTION OF EMPOWERMENT FORMS AHEAD OF EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

In preparation for the forthcoming empowerment programme scheduled to hold on Thursday, 4th June 2026, the Chairperson of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Dr. Omolara Olarenwaju Sanusi, has commenced the distribution of empowerment forms to eligible beneficiaries across the Local Government Area.

The initiative is aimed at supporting youths, women, artisans, entrepreneurs, and other residents through opportunities designed to enhance their economic well-being, promote self-reliance, and improve livelihoods.

The distribution of forms marks an important step towards ensuring that qualified beneficiaries participate in the programme, which forms part of the administration’s commitment to inclusive growth and community development.

Residents are encouraged to obtain and complete the empowerment forms as required in order to benefit from the programme.
