As we welcome this new month of August, my prayer and heartfelt wish for every family across Alimosho, Lagos and Nigeria as a whole is that it brings you immense joy, success, and countless beautiful moments. May each day unfold with fresh opportunities, laughter, and peace.

With our pupils now officially on their long vacation, our homes and neighborhoods are filled with their bright energy. While this holiday period provides a well-deserved rest for our children to recharge, I want to gently remind us all that their safety remains our collective responsibility. I urge all parents, guardians, and community members to keep a watchful, loving eye on our young ones, guide them wisely, and ensure they remain safe and meaningfully engaged throughout this break.

May Almighty God shield and protect our children wherever they are, preserve our families, and crown all your endeavors this month with remarkable success. May August be kind, fruitful, and peaceful for us all.

With Tuesdayโ€™s placement examinations successfully concluded, officers from our Social Mobilization Department, alongside team members across Alimosho LGEA, took to the streets yesterday for a community-wide Enrolment Drive. I was proud to join our team on the ground as we walked through our neighborhoods, engaging directly with parents, traders, and community leaders.
Our mission through this drive is simple yet vital: to spread the word that all public primary schools across Lagos State are completely free, open, and ready to welcome our children.

As we prepare for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic session, we are intentionally reaching out to every corner of our community to boost pupil enrolment and ensure no school-aged child is left out.

I am deeply invested in this movement because I firmly believe that every child deserves seamless access to quality education. This conviction sits at the very heart of the Lagos State Government's educational agenda. Our classrooms are prepared, our educators are passionate, and our doors are wide open to nurture the next generation of thinkers, innovators, and leaders.

To our parents and guardians, the journey to a bright future begins with a solid foundation. I encourage you to visit any of our public primary schools near you to register your children today. Let us work together to give them the education they truly deserve.

Even as the initial wave of anniversary messages slows down, true impact deserves to be celebrated at every given opportunity. Today, I am proud to join our entire community in celebrating six visionary leaders as they mark one year of dedicated service, leadership, and excellence in office.

Transforming basic education across Alimosho relies deeply on grassroots collaboration. The steadfast commitment of our council chairmen continues to strengthen our schools, support our educators, and create better opportunities for our pupils every single day.
