CELEBRATING AN OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT

This remarkable achievement is a testament to the hard work, resilience, and determination of our students, as well as the unwavering commitment and dedication of our Mathematics Department.

As part of this recognition:
🏅 Government Junior College, Ketu-Epe received the official award plaque for emerging 3rd Position in Lagos Education District III.

👨‍🏫 Our three Mathematics teachers were presented with Certificates of Recognition for their exceptional guidance, encouragement, and commitment to ensuring that our students actively participated and excelled in the competition.

🎁 The school also presented gifts to the participating students in appreciation of their outstanding performance and for bringing honour and glory to our great institution.

Our students are actively participating in the school’s co-curricular activities, with the Girls’ Guide and other uniformed groups proudly on display. The session showcased the commitment, discipline, and enthusiasm of our students beyond the classroom.

Students are encouraged to be part of groups such as the Boys’ Scout, Girls’ Guide, Sheriff Guide, Girls’ Brigade, Red Cross and Cutter Guide, all aimed at building character and promoting service to the community.

These activities play an important role in developing leadership skills, teamwork, confidence and self-discipline, helping our students grow into responsible and capable future leaders.

International Women’s Day at Government Junior College, Ketu–Epe 💜

In commemoration of International Women’s Day, members of staff of Government Junior College, Ketu–Epe appeared in purple today to celebrate and show support for women and girls. The celebration created a moment of reflection, encouragement and inspiration for our students.

During the gathering, the female students were encouraged to remain focused, confident and determined to grow into strong and successful women in the future. They were reminded that women today are making remarkable impact and occupying leadership positions across different sectors of society.

They were also encouraged to look up to successful women across different career fields such as Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria First Lady and Entrepreneur, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, First Lady of Lagos State and a Medical Doctor, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala in Economics and Global Leadership, Amina J. Mohammed in International Diplomacy and Public Service, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie in Literature and Creative Arts, Ibukun Awosika in Business and Entrepreneurship, and Adaora Umeoji in Banking and Corporate Leadership. These women serve as great examples of determination, excellence and leadership.

The message to our girls is clear, dream big, work hard and believe in your potential.
