Yesterday marked another significant milestone in the democratic journey of our great party, the APC, as party faithful across Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency gathered for the House of Representatives primaries. It was a moment that reflected the strength, unity, and vibrancy of our party structure.

As an aspirant in this keenly contested process, I am deeply humbled by the overwhelming support, encouragement, and goodwill extended to me by our dedicated party members, leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and well-wishers. The turnout was impressive, the enthusiasm was inspiring, and the commitment shown by members reaffirmed the enduring strength of our collective vision for our constituency.

To everyone who believed in my aspiration, stood by me, campaigned tirelessly, offered prayers, words of encouragement, and demonstrated unwavering loyalty, I say a heartfelt thank you. Your support is not just appreciated; it is treasured. I do not and will never take this massive show of confidence for granted.

Politics, at its best, is about service, sacrifice, and shared aspirations. While contests may come and go, the bonds we have built, the relationships we have strengthened, and the common goal we pursue for the progress of our people remain paramount.

Your diligence is not ordinary it is the engine that drives progress, the force that sustains families, and the foundation upon which leadership must stand.

But let us be clear hard work alone is not enough if leadership fails to match the sacrifice of the people. Workers deserve more than praise they deserve policies that protect their sweat, systems that reward their effort, and governance that creates real opportunities for growth and prosperity.

I have officially obtained my Expression of Interest Form at the All Progressives Congress APC headquarters to contest for the position of Member House of Representatives representing the good people of Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency.

This is not just a personal ambition. It is a call to service, a commitment to purposeful leadership, and a bold step toward reclaiming the true dividends of democracy for our people. For too long our constituency has yearned for effective representation that listens acts and delivers. The time for transformation is now.

I stand on the pillars of competence, integrity and dedication to the progress of our land. I am prepared to champion policies that will empower our youths uplift our women strengthen our economy and ensure that every community under our constituency feels the impact of responsive governance.

Today marks exactly one year since I lost my beloved mother, Alhaja Aishat Aderounmu.

Not a day has gone by without thoughts of you, your voice, your strength, and the love you gave so freely. You were more than a mother, you were my guide, my teacher, my pillar, and my greatest supporter. Your prayers carried me through moments I did not even understand at the time.

Though you are no longer here with us physically, your legacy lives on in the values you instilled, the lives you touched, and the memories we hold so dearly. Your kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith continue to inspire me every single day.

It still feels like yesterday, yet it has been a whole year without your warm presence. The pain of your absence remains, but so does the gratitude for having been blessed with a mother like you.

I pray that Almighty Allah forgives your shortcomings, grants you Aljanah Firdaus, and continues to rest your soul in perfect peace.

You will forever remain in my heart, dear mother.
