NSCDC KOGI COMMAND PROMOTES TEAM SPIRIT THROUGH VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION
The Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), under the leadership of the State Commandant, Commandant Aletan Olumide Ebenezer, has organised a volleyball competition as part of efforts to promote physical fitness, teamwork and healthy interaction among personnel.
The sporting activity featured a competitive volleyball match between the NSCDC Kogi Command Volleyball Team and the Spiker volleyball club.
Speaking on the initiative, Commandant Aletan stated that sporting activities are an important aspect of personnel welfare and development, as they help to keep officers physically fit, mentally alert and motivated to discharge their responsibilities effectively.
He further encouraged personnel to embrace sports and other healthy recreational activities, noting that a fit and motivated workforce is better prepared to respond to security challenges and effectively protect lives and critical national assets.
The competition also provided an opportunity for personnel to interact, build stronger bonds and foster the spirit of teamwork beyond routine official duties.
The Command reaffirmed its commitment to personnel welfare in accordance to the policies and strategies of the Commandants General professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi mni OFR thus whose priority is ensuring the promotion of initiatives that enhance the physical and mental well-being of officers and men of the Corps across the nation.
