A delegation of Community Health Extension Workers from the Kogi State Ministry of Health and the Primary Health Care Development Agency visited the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Kogi State.

The Honourable Coordinating Commissioner for Health, Kogi State, Dr. Abdulazeez Adams Adeiza, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, received a team from the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Abuja, that visited the State to conduct an investigation of Basic Health Care Provision Fund facilities in three Local Government Areas—Ibaji Local Government Area, Ajaokuta Local Government Area, and Ijumu Local Government Area.
The visit was aimed at identifying the root causes of maternal and under-five deaths and informing urgent corrective measures to address the situation.
