*Success Wishes for the Forthcoming National Examination*

As the date for our National Examinations ( *scheduled from the 25th to the 30th of August)* draws near, we, the Community Health Officer (CHO) students of ATBUTH Bauchi, extend our heartfelt wishes of success to all candidates preparing to sit for these examinations.

We earnestly pray that the atmosphere during this period will be calm, peaceful, and favourable in every aspect. May every student be blessed with sound health, clarity of mind, and the ability to recall and apply all that has been studied.

We also pray that the examiners, invigilators, and supervisors will carry out their responsibilities with fairness, understanding, and sincerity, thereby ensuring a smooth and just examination process.

With unity of heart, we send our best wishes not only to our fellow CHO colleagues but also to all Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs) and Junior Community Health Extension Workers (JCHEWs) who will also be writing their council examinations.

Did you know?
Hypotension means your blood pressure is lower than 90/60 mmHg. While it may seem "better than high BP," it can still cause serious symptoms like:

-Common Signs of Low BP:
Dizziness or lightheadedness.
Blurred vision.
Fatigue.
Fainting.
Cold, clammy skin.
- Causes may include:
Dehydration.
Sudden position changes.
Poor nutrition.
Certain medications.

Have You Checked Your Blood Pressure Lately?
High Blood Pressure (Hypertension) is called the "silent killer" it often has no symptoms but can lead to stroke, heart failure, or kidney disease if left untreated.
In our recent outreach over 30% of people screened had high BP — and many didn’t even know it!
Know Your Numbers:
-Normal: Less than 120/80 mmHg
-High: 140/90 mmHg or more

Tip: Reduce salt, stay active, avoid smoking, and get regular checkups.

This second visit not only reaffirmed our commitment to delivering essential health services to underserved communities but also showcased the power of teamwork, resilience, and shared purpose.

We are deeply thankful to all those who, despite competing demands and tight schedules, showed up with passion and determination. Your energy and presence made this outreach a remarkable success, reinforcing the spirit of volunteerism and professional service that drives our vision.

Special recognition goes to our students and emerging professionals who brought enthusiasm, fresh perspectives, and commendable discipline throughout the outreach activities. Your involvement reflects a growing wave of committed health practitioners ready to impact lives meaningfully.

We equally acknowledge the behind-the-scenes efforts of the coordinating team who ensured seamless planning, logistics, and ex*****on your efforts are the silent strength behind every successful field activity.

To those who, though absent due to unavoidable duties, remained with us in thought and spirit your continuous encouragement keeps our momentum alive.
