Happy International Women’s Day! 👩‍❤️‍👩

Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and leadership of women across the world, especially the incredible women transforming agriculture and food systems. 🌾
Women are the backbone of agriculture in many communities, playing vital roles in planting, harvesting, processing, and feeding families and nations.

Across Africa, millions of women work tirelessly on farms, contributing significantly to food security and rural livelihoods.

Yet, despite their immense contributions, many women farmers still face challenges such as limited access to land, finance, technology, and markets.

Empowering women in agriculture means strengthening communities, improving food systems, and building a more sustainable future.

Today, we celebrate every woman farmer, agripreneur, extension worker, researcher, and leader shaping the future of agriculture.

When women thrive, agriculture grows. When women are empowered, communities
flourish.

What other challenges do you think women in Agriculture face today? Let's discuss in the comment section
