Rector supervised the distribution of Fintiri business wallet forms on the main campus of Fed Poly Mubi.

Today, May 19, 2026, served as another blessed day for petty traders in Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, where DG PAWECA, Michael Zira, in the company of the Rector, distributed PAWECA forms to many small business owners.

The beneficiaries included photocopiers, traders, food sellers, POS operators, and commercial shop owners, among others. Giving remarks shortly after the distribution, Dr. Ishiaka Abdurahaman, the Rector, commended the Governor and the DG PAWECA for the important intervention.

On behalf of all the beneficiaries in our great institution, I wish to thank the Governor and the Director-General of this program for giving support to those with micro-businesses in this respected campus.

Such will further increase their confidence in the government. Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, is always welcome to any government intervention, the Rector said. Chief Security, Zaki Bado, was present.

The DG PAWECA immediately departed for Yola to continue the form disbursement.

JUST IN 🔥

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Mubi, Dr Abdulrahman Aspita Ishaka, has been honoured with an award by Track News Paper Kaduna in recognition of his outstanding contributions towards the development of education in Nigeria.

The award was presented by the Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper, Alhaji Ahmed Munga, during a brief presentation ceremony held in the presence of principal officers of the institution.

The honour reflects the Rector’s commitment, visionary leadership, and continuous efforts in advancing academic excellence and institutional development at the Polytechnic and beyond.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

The Management, Staff, and Students of Federal Polytechnic Mubi, with deep sorrow, announce the passing of Chief Obiyo Uzoma of the Electrical Engineering Department.

His demise occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 26th April, 2026.

The Rector, Dr. Abdulrahman Aspita Ishaka, on behalf of the entire Polytechnic community, extends heartfelt condolences to the family, colleagues, and friends of the deceased. He described Chief Obiyo Uzoma as a committed and dedicated staff member whose invaluable contributions to the Department and the Polytechnic will be sorely missed.

We pray that Almighty God grants his soul eternal rest and gives his family and the entire Polytechnic community the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

May God grant him internal rest.

Holiday Message from the Rector

He commends the students for their dedication, resilience, and commitment throughout the academic session, noting that their efforts are truly commendable.

As students proceed on this well-deserved holiday, the Rector encourages them to make productive use of the period by resting, reflecting, and preparing for greater academic achievements ahead.

He also urges them to remain law-abiding and to continue upholding the values of discipline and integrity associated with the Polytechnic.

The Rector wishes all students a peaceful, safe, and refreshing holiday and looks forward to welcoming them back, re-energized for the continuation of their academic journey.
