A Remarkable Milestone: SUG Award Ceremony

Yesterday 31/05/2025, the Students Union Government (SUG) of Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa hosted a historic Award Ceremony, which is the first in the annals of our institution's student leadership. The event was a resounding success, celebrating the achievements of management staffs ,units, students and student organizations.

PRESS RELEASE

*EMIR OF NASARAWA INAUGURATES TASKFORCE COMMITTEE ON INDECENT DRESSING*

The Emir of Nasarawa has established a taskforce committee to address indecent dressing in the community, following numerous complaints from individuals and organizations. The Students Union Government and Management of Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa are part of this committee.

*Effective immediately* , indecent dressing will *NOT* be tolerated within the town, on or off campus. Prohibited attire includes body-tight tops and pants, transparent clothing, and seductive or provocative dress.

Enforcement agents from the police, FRSC, Civil Defence, Vigilante, and Emirate Palace Guards will work together to maintain a decent dressing culture.

We urge all students and community members to adhere to this new guideline, promoting a respectful environment for everyone.
