On this blessed and momentous Sunday of thanksgiving, we gather in dignity and reverence—surrounded by our noble chiefs, distinguished friends, and beloved family—to offer profound gratitude to the Almighty God, the King of all kings, whose divine grace has brought us thus far at African Bethel Church, Ode remo.
With deep humility, we acknowledge that the honour bestowed upon us, the victories recorded, and the peace we enjoy are not by human strength, but by the sovereign will and enduring mercy of God. He has been our shield in times of trial, our light in moments of uncertainty, and our crown of glory in seasons of joy.
Today, as we stand in unity, we celebrate not only the blessings of life but also the strength of our heritage, the loyalty of our chiefs, the steadfastness of our friends, and the love of our family. Your unwavering support, counsel, and presence have greatly enriched this journey, and for this, we remain eternally grateful.
To our esteemed chiefs, custodians of tradition and pillars of wisdom, we honour your dedication and guidance. To our friends and well-wishers, we appreciate your loyalty and goodwill. And to our family, the foundation of our strength, we cherish your love beyond measure.
As we lift our voices in thanksgiving, may the Almighty continue to reign supreme over our lives and our land. May He grant us enduring peace, greater unity, and continued prosperity. May our days be long, our legacy be noble, and our reign—whether in leadership, influence, or service—be marked with justice, compassion, and honour.
With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we return all glory, honour, and adoration to God Almighty—for His infinite goodness and unfailing grace.
We thank you all for gracing this royal thanksgiving. May the blessings of the Almighty abide with you now and always. If you want, I can elevate it even further with traditional Yoruba royal expressions and titles.
