RAMADAN 2021: CARRY GO ENCOURAGE MUSLIMS TO FAST, PRAY FOR PEACE AND ABSTAIN FROM BAD BEHAVIOUR

Assalamu Alaykum

The President of CAFI-T23 and the Incoming Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA Hon. Dipo Okeyomi Carry Go has called on Muslim faithful in Ojokoro Constituents to dedicate the Ramadan period to offer prayers for the less privileged and the prosperity of the country.

It is a great pleasure and honour to once again felicitate with millions of Nigerian muslims, and of course Muslims across the world, on the start of the glorious month of Ramadan.

Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam.

Carry Go, who is also the Deputy Chairman, Special Operation Team Lagos State Landed Properties said Ramadan is a unique symbol of the values that Muslims and people of all faith share – that is "Charity, Cooperation, Compassion and Self-restraint".

Ramadan is also an occasion for Muslims to strengthen family and community ties and share God’s gifts with those in need. He urged the Muslim faithfuls to restrain from bad behaviour.

This is why I invite the rich people to reflect on the conditions of the less privileged and needy during this special month, for no fault of their own, are unable to fast comfortably. This heart-breaking conditions therefore remind us all of our common humanity and compel us into positive actions that could bring a permanent end to the siuations.

My wife, Pastor Mrs Folukemi Okeyomi and I and Children, are delighted to extend our warmest wishes to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Ojokoro Constituents, Nigeria and across the world on the start of this holy month.

May the glory and blessings of this month shine upon us now and always.

GOOD FRIDAY: Carry Go Preach Sacrifice, Love and Forgiveness

As Nigerians join the rest of Christians across the globe to mark the solemnity of Good Friday, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death as part of the Easter celebrations, Change Agent Foundation International (CAFI-T23) President, Hon. Dipo Okeyomi Carry Go called on Nigerians to imbibe the virtues of peace, love, sacrifice and forgiveness which are the lessons of Easter.

The Incoming Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA, by the special grace of God, Hon. Dipo Okeyomi Carry Go, in an Easter message through his Media Team, said: “As we join Christians all over the world to celebrate this Easter, I urge the faithful Christians in Ojokoro LCDA, Lagos State and Nigeria at large to imbibe the core values of Christianity and the lessons of the season which are sacrifice, love, sharing and forgiveness of sins.

“We should remember that the progenitor of the Christian faith is also known as the Prince of Peace and we should, therefore, embrace peace with all men and maintain the peace which we have enjoyed in the past years.

“As we celebrate, we should not forget to extend a hand of fellowship to the less-privileged among us as Christ taught us to love our neighbours as our ourselves.

“Carry Go, who is also the Deputy Chairman, Special Operation Team Lagos State Landed Properties extend his appreciation to the Christian faithful and people of other faith in Change Agent Foundation International (CAFI) and T-23 for the love they have generously showered on him and the prevailing peace in the State, I appeal to them to continue to maintain this peace now and beyond.”

Furthermore, he said it was a period for sober reflection and challenged Christians to be more prayerful, imploring them to assist government by making more sacrifices to vulnerable on their respective communities in other to curtail this Pandemic disease COVID 19 boomeranging all over the World.

He said: “Jesus’ life exemplified sacrifice. He lived and died for humanity. No sacrifice could be greater than this. We can engage in winning and drinking. But it is also a period to emulate Christ and reflect on what sacrifice we can make to move the society forward.”

CARRY-GO: AN INDEFATIGABLE GRASSROOT POLITICIAN

Hon. Oladipupo Babatunde Okeyomi popularly known as Carry Go has shown high sense of dedication, selfless service, loyalty and Integrity during the electioneering Campaign for all APC candidates.

He knows his mettle and the political pedigree he is made of when it comes to grassroot politics.

He is a great mobiliser, politician with clout and one who earns the respect of his followers come rain, come sunshine.

Carry Go knows his capability in Grassroot Mobilisation and deep contact. When it comes to mobilising the masses at the rural level, he speaks their language; He maintains affinity and dines with the commoners, because they are reliable segment of the population he can count on, when it comes to electoral participation.

He associated himself with the commoner and masses, because they are more political conscious than the so called elites. The Masses will troop out in their thousands and cast their ballot, while the big men watch and monitor the proceedings.

Some leaders distance themselves from the people when they are direly needed, but resurface when election is around the corner; that is when you see them trying to be good and seeking for attention of the same people they disown and distanced themselves from., Hon. Dipo Okeyomi in this case is different from other Politicians. His people regarded him as "ILUFEMILOYE" because of his philanthropic attribute he bestowed to his people.

Carry Go is a Nigerian politician that can throw up surprises that will leave people mouths gapping.

As the then, Coordinator of Sanwo-Olu Vanguard ICG, he and his directorate team worked excellently and exceedingly throughout the nooks and crannies of Ojokoro LCDA to campaign aggressively and vigorously for the emergence of All APC candidates in 2019

He mobilises electorates from different angles such as Artisans, Non-indigene, Market Men and Women, Youths etc. to actualised the ambition of APC candidates.

Palm Sunday symbolizes the supreme and selfless sacrifice of Lord Jesus Christ to strengthen the bonds of friendship, brotherhood and love between mankind and God.

The President of Change Agent Foundation International (CAFI) and Incoming Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA by the special grace of God, Hon. Dipo Okeyomi Carry Go said Ojokoro LCDA, Lagos and Nigeria has experienced a much-needed rebirth during the Lenten season. Therefore, on this solemn occasion, let us rededicate ourselves to the noble ideals of love, peace and forgiveness; and strengthen the bonds of friendship, brotherhood and unity amongst the diverse peoples of our Nation.
