Chapter 64🔞66

Writer’s POV

Henry’s hands balled into fists as he looked down at the three girls lying on the floor. Ivory, Nova, and Hilda were a mess bruises covered their faces, their lips were split, and dried blood stained their noses. Their clothes were wrinkled, and their hair looked like it had been yanked in different directions. They weren’t just beaten; they had been completely wrecked.

His jaw tightened. “What the hell happened to you?”

None of them answered. Nova wiped at her bloody lip, her fingers trembling. Ivory looked away, biting down on whatever pain she was feeling. Hilda, usually the loudest of the three, sat hunched over, eyes on the floor. None of them had the usual arrogance they carried around.

Henry pulled out his phone. If they weren’t going to talk, then he’d force them. He aimed the camera at them and took a few pictures, capturing every bruise, every drop of blood.

“What are you doing?” Nova’s voice came out weak, but there was fear in it.

Henry ignored her and smirked. “If you don’t tell me who did this to you, I’ll post it on the school blog.”

All three of them snapped their heads up.

“You wouldn’t,” Hilda whispered.

Henry raised an eyebrow. “Try me.”

They looked at each other, their eyes filled with hesitation. It was like they were silently arguing, deciding if they should talk or not.

“I’m serious,” Henry continued, his thumb hovering over the screen. “Tell me who did it, or I’ll let everyone see how pathetic you look right now.”

Hilda’s fists clenched. “You’re bluffing.”

Henry didn’t blink. “Am I?”

Ivory swallowed hard, her eyes darting between Henry’s phone and Hilda. “Hilda, just—”

“Shut up,” Hilda snapped, her voice shaking.

Henry’s smirk widened. “You’re scared. That’s new.”

“We’re not scared,” Nova hissed. “We just don’t want you to involve.”

Henry chuckled darkly. “Huh? You mean involved in the part where you almost killed Niylah?” His voice dropped, his expression turning cold. “You think you’re the only ones who can make threats?”

None of them spoke.

“Then talk.”

They didn’t. Instead, they started pleading. Saying they’d do anything if he didn’t post it. But Henry was tired of their pleads. Without another word, he pressed post.

Their gasps filled the room.

“No! Henry, take it down!” Nova cried.

Hilda launched forward, trying to grab his phone, but Henry dodged easily.

“Too late,” he said simply.

Ivory let out a shaky breath. “You… you don’t know what you just did.”

Henry turned to leave, but he paused at the door. “I know exactly what I did. And I hope whoever did this to you comes back for round two.”

Then he walked out, leaving them to deal with whatever was coming next.

By the time he got home, everyone was in the living room Liam, Alex, Alexandra, and Niylah. The moment he stepped in, his eyes immediately searched for her. She was sitting stiffly on the couch, arms crossed, her face still slightly pale from what happened earlier.

“How are you Niylah?” he asked, stepping closer.

She didn’t even look at him. “Don’t talk to me again.”

Henry’s heart clenched. But before he could react, Alex snorted. “Stop lying.”

Everyone turned to him in confusion, but Niylah’s face instantly turned red. She knew exactly what he meant.

Henry narrowed his eyes. “What do you mean?”

Alex simply smirked and leaned back, but he didn’t explain.

Henry sighed and pulled out his phone. “Anyway, I want to show you guys something.”

He pressed play, and the video of the beaten girls filled the screen. Ivory, Nova, and Hilda, looking completely destroyed.

Everyone’s reaction was different. Alexandra’s eyes widened. Liam leaned forward, watching closely. Niylah looked shocked but said nothing.

“Who did this?” Alex asked after a long silence.

Henry crossed his arms. “That’s the problem. They wouldn’t say.”

“They deserve it,” Alexandra muttered under her breath.

Henry smirked. “I agree, but I still wanted to know who gave them a taste of their own medicine.”

The room stayed quiet for a moment before Alexandra burst out laughing. “I love this. Whoever did this, I want to shake their hand.”

Niylah frowned. “But… what if it was someone worse than them?”

“Niylah, there’s no one worse than them.” Alexandra rolled her eyes.

The arguing went on until Liam suddenly let out a heavy sigh.

“Alright, fine. I did it,” he admitted.

Silence call inside the room.

Niylah’s eyes widened. “You…?”

Alexandra grinned, eyes filled with admiration. Before she realized what she was doing, she threw her arms around Liam in a tight hug. Liam froze for a moment before she suddenly pulled away, clearing her throat awkwardly.

Alex simply nodded in approval. “Not bad.”

Henry, still processing, frowned. “Why?”

Liam shrugged. “Because I couldn’t just sit back and let them get away with it.”

Henry stared at him, then shook his head in disbelief. “Then why didn’t they say your name?”

Liam smirked, leaning back against the couch. “Because I warned them. I told them that if they snitched, I’d do worse.”

Henry couldn’t help but chuckle.

Alexandra was still grinning when she nudged Liam. “You really scared them that bad?”

“They had it coming.” Liam shrugged.

“Well, whatever happens next, I’m glad they finally got what they deserved.” Henry leaned back, finally relaxing.

Niylah, however, stayed quiet. Her mind was racing. Part of her was relieved. Another part of her was uneasy.

Suddenly, all their phones buzzed at the same time.

One notification. Then another.

And another.

Everyone exchanged glances, confused.

“What the hell is going on?” Alex muttered, pulling out his phone.

Henry did the same, and the moment he saw what was on the screen, he wasn’t surprised.

The school blog was flooded with comments and Messages.

Chapter 63🔞64

Henry’s POV

I couldn’t shake the feeling gnawing at me as I walked away from Niylah. The guilt, it was too much. She’d sent me away, but deep down, I knew I needed to apologize. I had hurt her, and no matter how hard I tried to avoid it, the truth was clear, I was responsible for the pain in her eyes.

I walked aimlessly, the weight of my thoughts heavy on my chest. The cool breeze around me did little to clear the confusion.

Eventually, I found myself standing by the pool. I’d seen Niylah here earlier, but now, the area was empty.

Panic tightened in my chest, and I started searching, my heart pounding. Where could she have gone?

Then I heard it.

A soft sound, almost muffled, but unmistakable. It came from the pool.

I rushed toward it, my mind racing. And then I saw her.

Niylah was lying there, barely conscious, floating in the water like a lifeless doll. My heart stopped.

“Niylah!!” I screamed.

For a moment, I forgot everything. I forgot that I didn’t know how to swim, forgot the fear I had of drowning. All I could think about was her, and I dove into the water.

The cold shock hit me, and I fought the current, pulling her closer to me. My arms burned, my body screamed for air, but I didn’t stop. I couldn’t stop.

With a final desperate heave, I managed to drag her out of the water, my limbs shaking from exhaustion. We both collapsed on the cold concrete, gasping for breath .

—-
When I finally woke up, I found myself lying on a soft bed. The smell of antiseptic lingered in my nose, and I felt the comforting presence of someone beside me.

I opened my eyes to see Alexandra sitting by my side, her concerned gaze fixed on me.

“You’re awake,” she said softly, relief in her voice.

But the first thing I needed to know wasn’t about me. It was about Niylah.

“Where’s Niylah?” I asked, my voice hoarse, a knot forming in my stomach.

“She’s inside her room. She’s fine,” Alexandra answered, her voice gentle but tired.

I didn’t waste another second. I pushed myself up and rushed toward Niylah’s room.

When I entered, I saw her lying in bed, her eyes swollen from crying. The moment she saw me, she broke down again, her sobs filling the room like a heavy, unbearable weight.

I moved quickly, rushing to her side. Without thinking, I pulled her into my arms, holding her as she cried into my chest.

“I’m sorry,” I whispered, over and over, each word heavy with the weight of my regret.

When she finally stopped crying, she pulled back, her eyes red and puffy, but full of anger.

“It’s your fault!” she shouted, her voice hoarse. “It’s because of you that they hate me! It’s because of you that Ivory, Hilda, and Nova did this to me!”

Her words stung, each one cutting deeper than the last. But I couldn’t argue. I knew it was true. I had caused this.

“I didn’t mean for any of this to happen,” I said, my voice thick with emotion.

She shook her head, tears still streaming down her face. “You don’t get it, Henry. They hate me because of you. And I don’t know why you’re so willing to apologize after everything that’s happened. After everything you’ve done to me.”

I felt the weight of her words. I deserved the anger in her eyes, the hatred in her voice.

“I’m sorry,” I said again, my voice breaking. “I’ll make it right. I promise.”

Niylah turned away, her voice soft but firm. “You can’t fix this. Just leave them alone.”

I stood up, my fists clenched at my sides.

“Where are you going?” She raised an eyebrow in confusion.

“To right the wrong,” I muttered under my breath.

“Going to them?”

I didn’t brother answering, she knew the answer.

“No don’t do that, they will…”

I didn’t wait for her to complete and statement, i was already outside.

I made my way to the mansion next to us, where the three of them Ivory, Hilda, and Nova were staying. My heart was pounding, anger coursing through my veins. I didn’t know what I was going to do, but I couldn’t just let them get away with what they had done to Niylah.

When I entered the house, I was immediately hit with the sight of chaos.

Ivory, Nova, and Hilda were sprawled out on the floor, blood dripping from their noses and covering their faces. Their clothes were torn, their hair disheveled, and their eyes were wild with fear.

I froze.

Who did this?

Chapter 61🔞62

Niylah’s POV

The moment my eyes flutter open, the weight of yesterday crashes down on me like a wave. Henry’s words replay in my head, each syllable digging deeper into my chest. I feel hollow like something inside me has been ripped apart.

Before I can stop it, tears spill down my cheeks. My body trembles as I clutch the blanket tightly, curling into myself. The pain is unbearable, suffocating. Why does it hurt this much? Why can’t I just hate him and move on?

A knock on the door startles me. I quickly wipe my face, trying to steady my breath.

“Niylah?” Alexandra’s roared through the room, her voice is soft but concerned. “Are you awake?”

I don’t answer, but she must have heard my shaky breathing because the door creaks open, and within seconds, she’s beside me.

“What happened?” she asks, kneeling on the bed.

I try to answer. I do. But the moment I open my mouth, a sob bursts free, breaking me all over again. My shoulders shake as I struggle to control myself, but it’s useless.

Alexandra sighs, wrapping her arms around me. “Don’t explain. Just stop crying, okay?” she murmurs, rubbing my back gently. “Please, Niylah.”

Her warmth soothed me a little, more tears cascaded down my cheeks.

And after what feels like forever, my sobs quiet down. She pulls away slightly and gives me a small smile. “You’re not staying in bed all day with this your crying mood. I’ll find you something to wear.”

I nod weakly even though I want to suggest otherwise, but I just watch as she rummages through my suitcase. When she finally holds up an outfit, my eyes widen in disbelief.

“Alexandra,” I say flatly. “That’s… way too short,” I muttered under my breath.

She rolls her eyes. “Just put it on. You’ll look good.” She smiles wandering toward me.

I groan but obey.

I checked the outfit one more last time before putting it on.

It is a black short gown, and it clings to my body, leaving my lap far too exposed for my liking. But before I can complain again, Alexandra grabs my wrist and drags me outside.

The moment we step out, three pairs of eyes land on me—Liam, Alex, and Henry.

But Henry's gaze made me whimper, my breath coming out hot, and a slump formed in my throat. They’re staring too much but Henry is intense.

It felt like he could see through me the way his gaze raked over my body, taking me in with just his cold expression. Our eyes met and I could feel my heart limp. He smirked in a way that only I could see and my legs gave out.

Heat rushes to my cheeks, and without thinking, I spin on my heel and rush back inside, my bare feet padding against the cool floor, as I hold my chest, scared my heart will fall with the way he races too fast.

I thought I’d be left alone until I heard Alexandra's footsteps behind me. She catches up to me, grabbing my arm before I can step into my room. “Oh, no, you don’t.”

“Can I…”

“No you can’t,” she hung me in like she had the idea of the excuse I was about to say.

Without further words, she pulls me back outside, standing in front of me like a shield. Then, she glares at the three men.

“Will you stop staring at her like that? Or you wanna strip her off with your gaze” she snaps in a Cold Way.

Liam coughed awkwardly but didn’t say a word.

“If that’s possible,” Alex smirks.

But Henry… he doesn’t look away. His gaze lingers on me, more intoxicating and it is unreadable. It felt like he could see through my bare skin.

I clutched my hands over my chest as if that could protect me from his gape.

Before I can process it, Alex’s phone rings. He sighed pulled out the phone and slid over the screen, he put it on speaker and immediately I caught the voice of the caller, I knew it was Catherine. Henry’s mother.

“Finally! You kids never pick up your damn phones!” a woman’s voice scolds.

“Good morning to you too, Aunty Catherine.” Alex chuckles.

“Don’t ‘good morning’ me,” she huffs. “I called Niylah and Henry, but neither of them answered. What’s the point of you all having phones if you don’t use them?”

“My bad. We’re alive, though.” Alex grins.

“Barely,” Liam mutters.

Catherine sighs. “Anyway, how’s the trip so far? No trouble?”

“It’s been… interesting,” Alex says, shooting me a glance.

“Hmm.” Her tone shifts. “And what about Niylah? And Henry?”

Alex shrugs. “Here, talk to your son.” He hands the phone to Henry.

Henry takes it reluctantly, bringing it to his ear. “Hey, Mom.”

“Don’t ‘hey, Mom’ me, Henry. Why didn’t you answer my call?”

“I was busy.”

“Busy?” Catherine scoffs. “Too busy for your mother? Unbelievable.”

Henry rubs his forehead. “Sorry.”

She exhales. “Whatever. Give Niylah the phone.”

I stiffen. My hands grow clammy as Henry turns to me, extending the phone. I hesitate but take it anyway.

The moment I press it to my ear, Catherine’s voice softens. “Niylah, sweetie, why is your face this red?”

My breath catches. How did she notice that so easily?

“Nothing,” I shook my head.

“Lies!” She barks. “You cried, don’t you?”

I quickly shake my head. “I wasn’t….”

“Don’t lie to me,” she interrupts. “Your voice is shaky, What happened?”

I swallow hard. Find the proper words to explain the situation.

Before I can come up with a response, Alex suddenly yells, “It was Henry who hurt her!” He yelled, shocking everyone.

Then Catherine’s voice turns sharp. “What?”

Henry’s body wiggled. His eyes darted from one corner to others.

“What did you do to her, Henry?” Catherine demands. “If you made that poor girl cry, I swear to God…”

My fingers tremble as I quickly hang up the call, not giving her the chance to lash out at her son because of me.

Alex gapes at me. Liam raises an eyebrow. Henry looks frozen. And Alexandra? Her expression look funny and surprised.

My chest tightens, and before anyone can say anything, I turn and bolt out of the house.

My feet carry me to the pool area, the water shimmering under the sun. My breaths come fast and uneven as I clutch my chest. What the hell is wrong with me? Why did I hang up? Why do I feel like this?

A sound behind me makes me turn.

Immediately gaze caught with Henry, and I hissed inwardly.

His expression is unreadable as he steps forward. “Niylah….”

“Don’t,” I snap.

He stopped, and I could feel his gaze piercing my body.

“Don’t talk to me, Henry. Don’t apologize. Just….” My voice cracks. “Just leave me alone.”

He watches me for a moment before sighing. “I’m sorry. For everything I said.” Then, without another word, he turns and walks away.

I stand there, my mind spinning. No matter how much I try to hate him, I can’t. And that’s the worst part.

A movement catches my eye.

Ivory. Nora. Hilda.

They slip in through the back gate, glancing around cautiously.

I wipe my tears, straightening my shoulders. “What are you doing here?”

“Look who suddenly grew a backbone.” Hilda smirks.

“And I thought you guys fight?”
I raised an eyebrow. “Oh less I forget, slt bi***es don’t fight,” I released a bitter laugh.

“Did you think you could set a fight between us?” Nova scoffed.

I narrow my eyes. “I don’t mind but leave. Now.” My voice is sharp and commanding.

“Or what?” Ivory folds her arms.

“Or you’ll regret it.” I take a step closer.

The three stared at me without saying a things.

“If you want to play stubborn then call in the rest.”

I turned back to leave but the moment I took a step, I felt a hand pushing me and the next thing I knew was being thrown inside the pool.

I struggle to keep but it is hard since I have never swimmers. My tears mixed with the water and I felt drown.

Chapter 59🔞60

A tense silence fell, punctuated only by the whimpering of Ivory and her friends, each clutching the spot where Xandra had slapped them.

"I never had a stupid sister," Alex sneered, walking away with Liam.

"Beware, or I'll behead you!" Xandra yelled, following them and leaving me with the others.

I turned to follow but Ivory's words stopped me in my tracks. "You caused all this, you bitch!" she screamed.

I scoffed, walking closer to her and lowered my body to the three of them. "Don't you think that's a bit rich, coming from you?” my voice trailed off.

“If you're not a bitch, what are you? Fu***ng your mate's friend? Or should I say your friend crush?" I muttered, pointing at Hilda, "you know….. Hilda had a crush on Henry. I wonder how she'd feel if she knew you were sleeping with her crush."

I stood up, my eyes locked on Hilda's widening gaze. "Ivory," she called out in a low tone, and Ivory seemed shaken.

"Ivory, is what she said true? You're sleeping with Henry? For how long?" Nova asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ivory stood up, but Hilda dragged her back down, her butt landing on the floor. "You're a bitch, aren't you? Even after knowing I liked Henry, you still went ahead and fu**ed him!" Hilda yelled, raining slaps down on Ivory's body.

“How dare you dragged me down!” Ivory screamed.

"You're such a slut!" Hilda spat, her eyes blazing with anger. "You knew I had feelings for Henry, and yet you still slept with him!"

Ivory sneered, her face twisted in defiance. "At least I'm not a jealous, clingy mess like you, Hilda. You can't handle the fact that Henry chose me over you."

The three of them erupted into a heated argument, with Hilda shielding tears, and I couldn't help but laugh out loud as I turned to leave.

Inside the building, I found Henry as if waiting for me, his gaze cold as ever. "Henry," I called out, walking toward him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked when I reached his side.

"Just waiting for you," he replied bluntly, his expression unreadable.

I wondered what was wrong. "I'm here...do you have something to share?" I asked, and his gaze dropped to the floor.

"I have something to tell you," he emitted, still staring down.

"I'm listening," I said, crossing my arms over my chest.

A sly smile spread across his face as he uttered, "It was all lies." My brow furrowed in confusion.

What did he mean by that? I tried to speak, but he cut me off.

"I don't like you," he declared, his gaze piercing mine.

My heart skipped a beat as his words hung in the air. His smile grew wider, but his voice trembled slightly, betraying his true emotions.

"What do you mean? What are you talking about?" I asked, trying to hold him back, but he je**ed his hands away.

"You understand, I don't like you. I was only lying from the start. You're just a mere omega, and I don't think we suit each other. I deserve something better, and so do you. You deserve someone better than me," he sneered, his voice laced with venom as he ruffled my hair.

His words stung, but I knew he was telling the truth. I deserved someone better than a jerk like him.

"Yes, I deserve someone better than a jerk like you!" I yelled, trying to hold back tears. "I knew you hated me, and I hate you too. When we part ways, don't even try to act like you ever knew me. I'm going to forget about you and your cruel behavior!"

Tears streamed down my face as I turned to leave. He tried to speak, but I glared at him hatefully, yanking his hand away from my hair. I rushed inside.

Liam and the others were in the sitting room, chatting and laughing but their conversation ceased when they saw me.

"What's wrong?" Alex inquired, concern etched on his face, but I couldn't find my voice.

More tears cascaded down my cheeks as I fled to the empty room, seeking refuge from the pain.

****
Henry's POV

Three hours had passed since Niylah locked herself away, refusing to open the door despite our pleas.

I realized I had become more than just a jerk to her, I was a heartless monster. I had toyed with her emotions like a cruel joke.

Deep down, I knew she deserved the best, not a beast like me. She had a soft heart, and I didn't deserve to be near her.

I couldn't shake the thought of how I could punish myself for my actions. Sleeping with my best friend's mate for over a year? I didn't deserve happiness.

Niylah was the only one who brought a smile to my face, and yet I didn't even deserve that. If she ended up with Liam, I wouldn't be bothered. She deserved someone like him.

I crushed another empty can in my hand, tossing it aside and grabbing another.

The sound of the can opening echoed through the air like a haunting melody. I raised it to my lips, but a hand grabbed it, I raised my head and it met Alex's own, his eyes blazing with anger.

"Let go!" I yelled, trying to wrestle the can from his grasp, but he pushed it away, spilling the alcohol on the floor.

The can clattered away, and I screamed at the top of my lungs, but Alex remained unfazed.

"What the heck are you doing?" I shouted, my voice hoarse with frustration.

"After making her cry, you want to drown your sorrows in alcohol?" Alex raised an eyebrow, his voice laced with disgust.

I hissed inwardly, my gaze dropping to the floor. "That's none of your business," I muttered, trying to save face.

Enraged, Alex's voice cut through the air, "It's my business because I care for her, and I won't stand for anything that makes her cry!" His sharp tone was tempered with calm, but his words were laced with a fierce protectiveness. "You shouldn't have started something you can't finish," he added with a low voice, his gaze piercing mine.

I raised an eyebrow, confusion etched on my face. "Huh?" I asked, my voice laced with uncertainty.

Alex's expression turned stern. "Stop acting naive, bruh... You'd better find a way to make her happy again, or you'll face my wrath!" His words were a threat, and I felt a shiver run down my spine as he turned to leave.

his words cut deeper, piercing my already wounded heart. I spun back around, my voice cracking with emotion. "How?" I asked, desperation creeping in. "How am I supposed to make her happy when I'm the cause of her pain?"

I fought to hold back tears, but my voice betrayed me, shaking slightly.

Alex stopped in his tracks, turning to face me. "I don't know," he paused, "maybe by taking back what you said to her earlier?" He suggested before storming off.

My mind reeled. "What did I say to her earlier?" I thought, my heart racing. "Did Alex overhear our conversation?" The possibility sent my heart into a frantic beat.

Chapter 57🔞58

"What are you guys doing here?" Liam asked, frustration evident in his voice as he stepped forward, but Xandra was quick to intervene.

"Why the hurry? We're in the airport, this is a public place, not our father's land," Xandra uttered, her anger palpable, but she was clearly trying to hold herself back.

"Let's go," Alex's voice chimed in, and we all nodded in agreement.

"Pray we don't cross paths again. If we do, believe me, you won't walk back home with your two arms," Liam threatened before we started moving, but Henry remained rooted to the spot, his gaze fixed on Ivory, radiating anger.

"Come on, bruh, let's go," Liam said, but Henry didn't budge, his expression unchanging.

I swallowed hard before walking toward him, touching his arm, and his gaze shifted to me. "Let's go," I said gently.

It took him a minute before he nodded in agreement, and we both walked away to join the others.

As we left, I could swear that Ivory and her friend's eyes were following us, but who actually cares? Nobody does.

We completed the necessary formalities, and within an hour, our plane had taken off. Fortunately, we weren't on the same plane as that annoying group, which made me even happier. Maybe we had just crossed paths at the airport, and that was it.

I was sitting next to Xandra while Liam sat with Henry, and Alex sat with a girl, but he seemed uncomfortable, fidgeting with his glasses and leaning back in his seat. Despite his efforts to hide it, he looked unsettled.

Hours later, we arrived, we all stretched our tired bodies after sitting for many hours. I checked the time and saw it was already 5 in the evening. The in-flight service had been good, but I was still hungry as if I hadn't eaten anything all day.

"I'm hungry," Liam and Xandra said in unison, holding their stomachs. They glared at each other annoyingly.

"Stop saying what I say!" Xandra yelled.

"How am I saying what you're saying when we both said it together?" Liam yelled back.

Oh my god, these two want to start again. Xandra swallowed her pride, refusing to say another word.

"I guess we're the only ones who are hungry," Liam pouted, his lips protruding, and Xandra looked around to confirm, but Henry and Alex weren't paying attention.

"You have something in common," Alex scoffed.

"The truth is, I'm also hungry," I finally admitted, my stomach growling loudly. I couldn't hold it back any longer.

"Are you afraid to say that?" Xandra smirked, and we all burst out laughing.

"I'm gone," Henry said suddenly, his voice blunt, and he walked away without waiting for any of us to reply.

"What the heck is wrong with that di****ad?" Xandra muttered as we all watched Henry disappear into the crowd.

"Let's go catch something to eat, I'm hungry too," Alex said, dragging his luggage away, and we all followed him. Luckily, we found a nearby restaurant not far from the airport.

We all ordered what we wanted to eat and were surprised when the girl we had sat with at the airport came to serve us. She smiled largely at Alex, but Alex only threw her an annoying glare.

She served us before turning away, but Liam stopped her. "Don't you think we've met before?" Liam asked, pointing to all of us, but the girl shook her head.

"No, I've only met him," she said, pointing to Alex, her cheeks turning red.

"The heck!" Xandra exclaimed, and we all smiled. "You must have been blinded by my brother's handsomeness," she added, teasingly.

"Watch what you say," Alex's voice dropped with coldness, and Xandra swallowed hard.

"Get out of here!" Alex yelled at the girl, and she quickly ran away.

"See who had a crush immediately he stepped in here, you're always lucky in everything," Liam teased, his gaze not moving from the plate in front of him as he savored every bite.

" Bruh, that's not funny," Alex groaned. "Let's eat without disturbances," he added, eating the food as if it might run away from him.

I guess he hated the fact that the girl had a crush on him, it was clear that the girl did.

"Let's eat fast and start going, maybe I'll also find my own Princess Charming," Liam teased, and we all burst out laughing except Alex, who looked angry but didn't bother to say a word.

We finished eating and strode out of the shop, but were surprised when the girl from earlier rushed to us. "Please can I have a minute of your time?" she said to Alex, but Alex looked too cold to even reply.

"My name is Layla, can you please give me your number?" the girl raised her phone up, but Alex only glared at her with disdain.

"Get the f**k off!" he screamed, throwing the girl's phone on the floor and brushing her off the way.

"Bruh," Liam called, but Alex wasn't looking back.

"Sorry," I pronounced, and Xandra dragged me away. Liam looked at the girl for the last time before running toward us.

"Your behavior is cold," Liam uttered as he stopped a taxi.

"Give the taxi man the address," Alex didn't bother to reply.

Liam breathed down before giving the taxi man the address, and we all entered with Alex sitting at the front. Our luggage was thrown into the boot.

It took some minutes before we arrived at the address.

“That's where we are going” Liam pointed to a big mansion and I couldn't help but open my mouth in awe

I stared at the giant mansion, my voice refused to come out no matter how I tried to speak. It was a two buildings, although separate but were incredibly close, and also in the same compound, a big swimming pool was the only cross between the two mansion, The mansion on the left, where Liam had pointed to, was a stunning white structure with tall columns and large windows. The one on the right was similar in design but with a slightly different architecture.

"Oh! You guys are here," I heard a familiar voice which shot into my thought, but I didn't want to believe who owned the voice.

We all turned back to find the three girls, Ivory, Hilda, and Nova, standing behind us.

"What are you guys doing here?" Xandra asked, folding her arms angrily.

"Actually, that's my father's vacation house," Ivory pointed to the mansion beside the one Liam had called our destination. It was in the same compound, and it seemed like the two houses were built to share everything in common.

Xandra glared at the house before directing her gaze to Ivory. She moved closer to Ivory, and I thought she wanted to exchange words, but then I heard a loud slap sending Ivory to the floor, delivered by Xandra. She didn't hesitate to slap Hilda and Nova as well. The three of them rolled on the floor, crying out in pain.

"You bi***es, why can't you just back off?" Xandra screamed out, her anger evident.
