*Authourity of a Believer*
Many believers know they have authority in Christ, but they struggle to exercise it because they do not understand their spiritual position. Authority is not based on feelings, emotions, age, or how long you have been a Christian. It is based on your position in Christ.
When a believer understands that they are seated with Christ in heavenly places, they stop praying from a position of defeat and begin to pray from a position of victory. You are not fighting for victory; you are enforcing the victory Christ has already won on your behalf.
A police officer can stop a heavy truck, not because he is physically stronger than the vehicle, but because he operates under a higher authority. In the same way, a believer exercises authority over the works of darkness because they operate under the authority of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:4–6 (KJV)
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
This means that spiritually, the believer is positioned with Christ above principalities, powers, and every work of the enemy. Therefore, when you pray, declare God's Word, resist temptation, or confront challenges, you do so from a place of authority and sonship, not fear and uncertainty.
Practical Application
⏭️Know who you are in Christ.
⏭️Speak God's Word with confidence.
⏭️Refuse to be intimidated by circumstances.
⏭️Exercise faith knowing that Christ has given you authority.
"Your authority is only as effective as your revelation of your position in Christ." The deeper your understanding of where God has placed you, the bolder and more effective you become in enforcing His will on the earth.
