The attention of the Director General/CEO of the Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Dr. (Mrs) Jummai Adamu Tutuwa has been drawn to the activities of some dubious and unscrupulous people using her good name and office to deceive unsuspecting public that she has been awarded a contract for the supply of laptops from the Federal Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation.
This is to state categorically that the Director General does not have any knowledge of or access to the award details of contracts at the ministry; niether has she approved of anybody to source for laptop supplies on her behalf. As a law abiding citizen of Nigeria she is occupied with the day to day demands of her official responsibilities as a Director General in line with the extant Public Service Rules of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Director General hereby distant herself from all these nefarious activities and advice the general public to be weary of the aforementioned and exercise due diligence in their dealings.
