Tinubu's Renewed Hope To Empower Osun Residents

President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda is set to empower about sixteen thousand (16,000) residents of Osun State.

Those targeted under the scheme are those at the grassroots where over 160 million naira is expected to be disbursed.

The state coordinator of the initiative, Hon. Sunday Akere, who disclosed this in statement, said it was part of Tinubu's administration efforts at making lives becoming more bearable for the people, especially the downtrodden.

According to the coordinator, who was a former commissioner in the state, the beneficiaries would be spread across the state.

He noted that 400 people in each of the 332 wards that constituted the state were already being selected.

"Over 160 million naira will be given out to these people; 400 from each of the 332 wards in the state. So, in the end, no fewer than 16,000 people will benefit from the program, " Akere emphasized.

The one-time Commissioner of Information in the state, solicited for the corporation of the people in ensuring the enthronement of the APC administration in the state at the coming elections by voting for its candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji popularly called AMBO.

In addition, Akere pleaded that the reelection of President Tinubu at next year's polls, would make it easier for Renewed Hope Agenda to function well for the benefit of the people at all levels in the state.

"If APC wins the coming governorsip election in Osun and President Tinubu is returned in 2027, I can assure that our people will be good for it at all levels in the state," he said.

Meanwhile, the Renewed Hope Initiative state coordinator has appealed for peace among the people of the state, insisting that the state would not gain anything tangible if plunged into chaos.

"We seriously need peace for the good of our people and the state. We should strive to comport ourselves before, during, and after the elections. So, we must ensure that we live peaceably among ourselves, " Akere further pleaded.

Renewed Hope Ambassadors Announce, Mourn the Passing of Dr Isiaka Ayodele Owoade

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Osun State, has received with deep sadness the news of the death of its Director of Finance, Dr Isiaka Ayodele Owoade, popularly known as Babalaje.

Dr Owoade reportedly passed away in London at about 3:30 a.m. today. His death is a painful loss to his family, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors structure, and the entire Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress.

A former Special Adviser on Lands, Dr Owoade served the state and the progressive family with commitment, loyalty, and a strong sense of responsibility. Within the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, he was a dependable leader whose experience, calm disposition, and willingness to support the organisation’s work earned him the respect of colleagues and associates.

The Osun State Secretariat of Renewed Hope Ambassadors considers his passing as a difficult moment for everyone who knew and worked with him.

We have indeed, lost a committed progressive, a trusted colleague, and a man who gave his time and experience to the service of our organisation and the wider APC family. His absence will be deeply felt.

On behalf of the leadership and members of Renewed Hope Ambassadors across Osun State, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, friends, political associates, and the Osun APC family.

Renewed Hope Ambassadors Commend Tinubu, Security Agencies on Ransom-Free Rescue of Oriire Abductees

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Osun State Secretariat, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigeria’s security agencies over the successful rescue of 44 pupils and teachers abducted from three schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

In a statement signed by the Osun State Ambassador, Ambassador Oluomo Sunday Akere, the group described the safe return of the victims on July 10, after 56 agonising days in captivity, as a major victory for the nation, the affected families and the fight against terrorism.

Akere praised President Tinubu for providing the strategic direction and resources required for the operation, while refusing to surrender to the abductors’ demand for the release of a detained terrorist leader. He noted that no ransom was paid and no prisoner exchange or other concession was granted.

“This outcome sends an unmistakable message. Nigeria will not finance terrorism, reward criminality or surrender its sovereignty to those who prey on innocent children,” Akere said. “The President’s firmness has broken the belief that every mass abduction must end in ransom payment or the release of dangerous criminals.”

The group also applauded the intelligence-led operation coordinated by the General Officer Commanding 2 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General C.R. Nnebeife, with the participation of the Office of the National Security Adviser, the armed forces, police, DSS, NIA, NSCDC, Amotekun, hunters and local vigilantes.

Akere said the operation demonstrated the value of patience and genuine inter-agency cooperation. Rather than endanger the captives through a hurried assault, the security forces dismantled the terrorists’ networks, informants, logistics and hideouts around the Old Oyo National Park, forcing the group to release the victims unconditionally. Eight suspects were arrested, while other members of the terrorist network were neutralised.

“This was not a victory of force alone. It was a victory of intelligence, coordination, discipline and tactical patience,” he stated.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors expressed sympathy to the family of the teacher killed following the abduction and honoured the security personnel who suffered casualties during the operation. The group called for the swift prosecution of all arrested suspects and urged the government to strengthen the Safe Schools Initiative to prevent any part of the Southwest from becoming a new corridor for school abductions.

Akere reaffirmed the support of the Osun State Secretariat for President Tinubu and the security forces as they work to reclaim every community from terrorists, kidnappers and other violent criminals.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Osun State Secretariat, heartily felicitates with the distinguished Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District and respected chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a congratulatory message issued by the Osun State Ambassador of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Ambassador Oluomo Sunday Akere, the group described Senator Fadahunsi as a fine grassroots politician, a tested public servant and a legislative icon whose political influence continues to speak clearly across his senatorial district and beyond.

Ambassador Akere said Senator Fadahunsi has, over the years, built a reputation for courage, accessibility and practical service to the people. He noted that the Senator’s strength does not only come from his presence in the hallowed chamber of the National Assembly, but also from his firm connection with the grassroots, where his name and influence remain strong among the people.
