**OSUN PEOPLE, HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF – IWALOYE CAN WIN LIKE MIMIKO DID!**

In 2007, many people said it was impossible. A relatively new party called the **Labour Party (LP)** in Ondo State? How can they win against the powerful PDP machine backed by Abuja?

But **Dr. Olusegun Mimiko (Iroko)** believed in the people. He left the comfort of the ruling party, joined the young LP, built strong grassroots structures, connected with the ordinary people, and focused on real issues. Despite initial setbacks and alleged rigging, the courts eventually affirmed the will of the people. Mimiko was sworn in as Governor in 2009 and won re-election convincingly in 2012 on the same LP platform.

Today, the story is the same in Osun State.

**Dr. NAJEEM FOLASAYO SALAAM, popularly known as IWALOYE**, is a well-known, tested, and highly popular politician. Former two-term Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, a grassroots mobilizer, academic (PhD), progressive leader, and a man with proven character. He has served the people diligently — from supervisory councillor to lawmaker to Speaker. He understands Osun’s problems deeply and has the capacity to solve them.

Just like Mimiko:
- Iwaloye is not relying on an old, tired political machine.
- He has joined the **African Democratic Congress (ADC)** — a party ready for genuine change.
- He is building fresh, people-centered structures across the state.
- He is connecting directly with the youth, market women, farmers, students, and traditional rulers.

**Osun people have the power to repeat history.** A new or smaller party is not a disadvantage when the **candidate is popular, experienced, competent, and has genuine love for the people**. Mimiko proved this in Ondo. Iwaloye can — and will — prove it in Osun in the August 15, 2026 election.

**Why Iwaloye?**
- Deep roots in Osun (born in Ejigbo).
- Track record of legislative excellence and leadership.
- Commitment to good governance, stable electricity, infrastructure, education, and youth empowerment.
- Backed by respected leaders like former Governor Rauf Aregbesola and many decampees who believe in real progress.

**Don’t listen to those saying “ADC is new” or “it can’t win.”** They said the same thing about Labour Party in Ondo. The people decided then — and the people can decide now.

**Arise, Shine, and Vote Iwaloye (ADC) for Governor!**
Osun deserves better. Osun deserves Iwaloye tiwantiwa.

**A CALL TO ACTION FOR THE PEOPLE OF OSUN: LET'S POWER OUR FUTURE WITH DR. NAJEEM FOLASAYO SALAM (IWALOYE) OF ADC!**

**Ẹgbẹ́ òṣùn, ọmọ Òṣun ọmọlúwàbí!**

Enough of the darkness! Enough of generators coughing smoke day and night, businesses struggling, students reading with candles, and our hardworking people paying heavy bills for light that never comes. Osun deserves **unstoppable electricity** – 24/7 power that transforms lives, grows our economy, and brings real development. That future is possible with **Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salam (Iwaloye)**, the ADC Governorship Candidate for 2026.

In a recent interview, Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salam made a clear, bold promise: **Osun will start enjoying 24/7 hours of reliable electricity** under his leadership. This is not empty talk. This is a man of proven character – "Iwaloye" – whose words carry weight because he has delivered before.

Remember **Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola**? Many doubted him when he promised to empower 20,000 of our youths through the OYES scheme. Skeptics called it impossible. But what happened after he won? He fulfilled the promise and changed thousands of lives. Today, we see the impact of that vision. History is repeating itself – the same spirit of bold, people-focused leadership is alive in Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salam, a loyal ally and tested leader who served as Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly.

Why Dr. Najeem Salam (Iwaloye) Stands Out:

- **Proven Track Record**: A man who has served Osun with integrity, loyalty, and results. He understands governance from the inside and has the vision to fix what is broken.

- **Electricity Revolution**: He is committed to tackling power shortages head-on – working with available frameworks, attracting independent power solutions, and ensuring our state benefits fully from electricity reforms so homes, markets, farms, and industries never go dark again.

- **Youth & People Empowerment**: Just like the fulfilled promises of the past, he will prioritize jobs, skills, and opportunities for our teeming youths and women.
- **Unity and Progress**: A unifying figure who puts Osun first, beyond division.

Osun people, this is our moment. We have suffered too long with epileptic power that kills small businesses, frustrates farmers, and holds back our potential. Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salam is offering a clear path out of this darkness.

**Vote ADC** on August 15, 2026.
**Vote Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salam (Iwaloye)** for Governor.

Let us believe, mobilize, and deliver the victory. When we stand together, Osun will shine brighter than ever – with light in every home, power in every workshop, and hope in every heart.

**Ìwàlọyè ní!**
**ADC ní!**
**Òṣun yoo dára!**

Share this message. Talk to your family, friends, and neighbors. The power is in our hands – literally. Let's make 24/7 electricity a reality in Osun.

“LET THE TRUTH BE TOLD – WHY OSUN SHOULD BELIEVE IN ADC AND IWALOYE”**

**Ọmọ Osun, Let Us Speak the Truth with Love**

Many of us remember the Aregbesola years with mixed feelings. Yes, there were challenges — especially the issue of half salaries for our hardworking civil servants. Some politicians still use this to provoke and divide us today.

But let us be honest as true sons and daughters of Osun:

Aregbesola did not set out to punish workers.

He met a very difficult situation. Federal allocation to Osun was extremely low at that time. The state was struggling with huge inherited debts, national economic recession, and reduced revenue from Abuja. Despite these limitations, his administration still built landmark projects — modern schools, good roads in many areas, hospitals, and laid foundations for agricultural development. He showed courage and vision. The half salary issue was a painful survival measure caused by insufficient funds, not wickedness or deliberate neglect.

Today, the same people who benefited from the progressive family are busy twisting history for their own ambition. But Osun people are wise. We know the difference between a leader facing national economic hardship and one who lacks direction.

___Now, a New Hope Has Emerged.___

___Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salaam (Iwaloye)___ — the ADC Governorship Candidate — is the genuine progressive leader Osun needs at this time. A man of proven character, tested capacity, and deep love for our state.

_____Why You Can Believe in ADC and Iwaloye____

____Iwaloye is tested and trusted____ As two-term Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, he worked closely with the progressive government. He saw the challenges and contributed to solutions.

He is not an outsider making noise — he is an insider with integrity.
(Character Above Everything): His popular name ___Iwaloye___ (Proven Character is Royal) is not just a title. It is his lifestyle. In a season where money and lies are used to buy votes, Iwaloye stands for honesty, humility, and real service.

___Ready to Build on Past Successes and Correct Past Mistakes:::::

He will not waste time blaming previous governments. Instead, he will take the good legacies of the Aregbesola-Oyetola years and improve on them with better management, transparency, and wider consultation. He understands that with improved federal allocation and prudent management, Osun can pay full salaries, create jobs, and develop faster.

- **PEOPLE-FIRST AGENDA**: IWALOYE IS COMMITTED TO:
- Regular and full payment of salaries and pensions
- Massive youth empowerment and job creation
- Support for farmers and local businesses
- Quality education and functional healthcare
- Security and peaceful coexistence.

- :::::Unity and Development:::::: Under ADC, he is calling for politics without bitterness. He wants all Osun people — regardless of party, religion, or zone — to come together for the progress of our state.

___Enough of propaganda and provocation____
The half-salary era was caused by economic realities, not malice. Now is the time to move forward with a leader who has the character, experience, and compassion to lead Osun into real prosperity.

**PARENTS**, believe in the man who will secure the future of your children.

**WORKERS**, believe in the leader who respects your sweat and will prioritize your welfare.

**YOUTHS**, believe in Iwaloye — he sees your pain and has solutions.

::::This is our time, Osun!!!!

LET US MASSIVELY SUPPORT Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salaam (Iwaloye) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Vote ADC for Genuine Progress Without Deception!
Vote Iwaloye for Character, Competence and Compassion;!

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Osun State ADC Coalition Support Network wishes to formally inform the good people of Osun State about an important training initiative designed to empower our people and strengthen community participation in governance and development.

This initiative represents a rare opportunity for capacity building, knowledge sharing, and youth empowerment across the state. It is aimed at preparing our people especially young men and women to actively participate in the socio-economic and political development of Osun State.

We therefore call on all Local Government Coordinators across the state to embrace this initiative with seriousness and dedication. Coordinators are encouraged to mobilize participants within their various local governments so that our communities can fully benefit from this valuable opportunity.

This program also reflects the progressive vision and leadership philosophy of Najeem Salam (Iwaloye), whose commitment to building a government of inclusiveness, youth involvement, and equal opportunity in all ramifications of governance continues to inspire many across Osun State.

The Osun State ADC Coalition Support Network believes that sustainable development can only be achieved when young people are empowered, communities are involved, and leadership is inclusive. Through initiatives like this training program, we are demonstrating the kind of governance that prioritizes people, development, and collective progress.

We also encourage any other interested individuals or groups who wish to be part of this initiative to kindly do the needful through the appropriate and official channels provided by the coordinators to ensure proper organization and participation.

We urge all stakeholders, youth groups, community leaders, and supporters to take advantage of this opportunity as we collectively work toward building a better, stronger, and more inclusive Osun State.
