**OSUN PEOPLE, HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF – IWALOYE CAN WIN LIKE MIMIKO DID!**
In 2007, many people said it was impossible. A relatively new party called the **Labour Party (LP)** in Ondo State? How can they win against the powerful PDP machine backed by Abuja?
But **Dr. Olusegun Mimiko (Iroko)** believed in the people. He left the comfort of the ruling party, joined the young LP, built strong grassroots structures, connected with the ordinary people, and focused on real issues. Despite initial setbacks and alleged rigging, the courts eventually affirmed the will of the people. Mimiko was sworn in as Governor in 2009 and won re-election convincingly in 2012 on the same LP platform.
Today, the story is the same in Osun State.
**Dr. NAJEEM FOLASAYO SALAAM, popularly known as IWALOYE**, is a well-known, tested, and highly popular politician. Former two-term Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, a grassroots mobilizer, academic (PhD), progressive leader, and a man with proven character. He has served the people diligently — from supervisory councillor to lawmaker to Speaker. He understands Osun’s problems deeply and has the capacity to solve them.
Just like Mimiko:
- Iwaloye is not relying on an old, tired political machine.
- He has joined the **African Democratic Congress (ADC)** — a party ready for genuine change.
- He is building fresh, people-centered structures across the state.
- He is connecting directly with the youth, market women, farmers, students, and traditional rulers.
**Osun people have the power to repeat history.** A new or smaller party is not a disadvantage when the **candidate is popular, experienced, competent, and has genuine love for the people**. Mimiko proved this in Ondo. Iwaloye can — and will — prove it in Osun in the August 15, 2026 election.
**Why Iwaloye?**
- Deep roots in Osun (born in Ejigbo).
- Track record of legislative excellence and leadership.
- Commitment to good governance, stable electricity, infrastructure, education, and youth empowerment.
- Backed by respected leaders like former Governor Rauf Aregbesola and many decampees who believe in real progress.
**Don’t listen to those saying “ADC is new” or “it can’t win.”** They said the same thing about Labour Party in Ondo. The people decided then — and the people can decide now.
**Arise, Shine, and Vote Iwaloye (ADC) for Governor!**
Osun deserves better. Osun deserves Iwaloye tiwantiwa.
