Revalidation of My ADC Membership
Mr. Peter Obi

On the 31st of December, leading figures from across Igboland gathered in Enugu in a historic meeting of the โ€œwho is whoโ€ in the region. The purpose was clear: to call on Igbo leaders, intellectuals, and stakeholders to join the ADC as the most credible platform for political renewal and responsible governance.

At the meeting in Enugu, prominent leaders from across the region were in attendance. From Enugu came Chief Okwesilieze Nwodo and Hon. Gilbert Nnaji, among others. From Imo were Hon. Emeka Ihedioha and Chief Achike Udenwa, among others. From Abia were Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and Onyema Ugochukwu. At the same time, while Anambra was represented by the likes of Senators Ben Ndi Obi, Victor Umeh, and Tony Nwoye, among others, including numerous members of the National Assembly and the State Houses of Assembly. Their presence underscored a shared conviction that the South-East must work together with a united voice and common purpose.

Yesterday, the 8th of March, we once again gathered in Awka to formally flag off the membership validation and registration exercise. The event also attracted a wide spectrum of leaders and stakeholders, including 2 Senators, 5 members of the National Assembly, 6 members of the State Houses of Assembly, and a host of dignitaries.

Speaking during the event, I urged all opposition parties to come together in the determination to confront and end bad governance. The forthcoming election in 2027 will not merely be a contest between political parties; it will be a defining choice between the Nigerian people and bad governance.

Following the flag-off ceremony in Awka, we moved to Agulu, where I personally completed my membership validation and encouraged others to follow suit. Our message is simple, meaningful change begins with participation.

The journey toward a New Nigeria that is POssible continues.

"I donโ€™t know why, but tears just dropped from my eyes. It feels like all hope is lost now that some of our top big boys have switched to APC.

They are still my people, and I canโ€™t speak against them. If to say them no be my people, we for yarn small, but my loyalty is forever, it doesnโ€™t switch.

No wahala sha! E pain me Oo! OBidients, we move. If Peter Obi wins the primaries and gets the ticket to contest for President, letโ€™s give him our full support. All the best. Court Declared That There Is No Faction In ADC

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja ruled that there is no faction in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to:

โžก๏ธ Recognize and publish the list of candidates submitted by the David Mark-led ADC leadership for the FCT Area Council elections.

โžก๏ธ Upload the David Mark-led candidates on INECโ€™s official portal for the February 21 FCT polls.

โžก๏ธ Disregard any rival list from other claimants to ADC leadership.

On a daily basis, Mr Peter Obi attracts more criticism than President Tinubu and all the 36 State Governors combined.

Even poor people, victims of kidnapping and unemployed people are joining the attack on Mr Peter Obi.
And you think they donโ€™t know exactly what they are doing with your heads?

Na you wey no know, but you think say you know!!!

Let me ask: Is there anything Peter Obi promised Nigerians that he has failed to do since coming to power?

Sorry, I meant to say Tinubu!

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, armed gangs kidnapped over 160 worshippers from at least two churches in Kurmin Wali, Kaduna State.

Let that sink in.

In the past 35 months, Kidnapping has exploded across Nigeria.

Communities, Schools, Highways, Churches, Mosques, human beings turned into commodities for ransom.

According to an NBS survey, nearly 3 million kidnapping incidents occurred nationwide between May 2023 and April 2024.
But the fixation is on Peter Obi.

Between July 2023 and June 2024 alone, 7,568 Nigerians kidnapped in
1,130 cases; and over โ‚ฆ11 billion paid in ransom.
But the topic is Peter Obi.

And the worst hit people in North-West Nigeria (Zamfara, Kaduna, Katsina) where whole communities remain under siege, are deliberately removed from the political discourse.

Thankfully, the question many some Northerners are now asking, quietly, angrily, painfully is this:
Is Tinubu deliberately ignoring insecurity in the North to destabilize their region?

And while villages burn and people disappear, how is Tinubu's gang responding?

Tribal baiting.
Igbo, this and that.
Media distractions.
Manufactured stories.

Sadly, many Nigerians have allowed themselves to be hoodwinked by a South-Western media propaganda machinery, fighting imaginary foes while the country is drifting into general Ghaghagha.

Nigeria is a household on fire, while the occupants argue about the tribe of the firefighter who has not st0len the firefighting tools and equipment, before they can allow him to put off the fire.

May monkey never dash you banana.
God bless.

Yesterday, I attended a deeply emotional and heartbreaking burial of three siblings, Stephen Onyeka Omatu, Casmir Nnabuike Omatu, and Collins Kenechukwu Omatu, the three young brothers whose lives were cruelly cut short in the Great Nigeria Insurance building fire in Lagos, Nigeria.

It is almost impossible to describe the depth of this tragedy. For days, these young men sent distressing pleas for help while trapped in the building, yet there were no emergency services to rescue them. Several days passed in the rubble before their bodies were finally recovered. Several days of unanswered calls, of a system that failed them at the moment they needed it most.

This is not just a personal loss for their family, it is a national loss. This tragedy should serve as a reminder that our emergency services must be improved and accessible to every citizen. We cannot continue like this. Every life matters, and no Nigerian should ever have to endure such neglect or be left to perish in such a gruesome way, while help could have been provided.

I pray that the souls of Steve, Casmir, and Collins find eternal rest, and that God grants their family the courage, strength, and comfort to bear this unimaginable grief. May we never forget them, and may we be moved to ensure such a tragedy never happens again.
