BASA Congratulates Adeleke on Election Victory, Commends Osun People for Democratic Mandate

Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi–Aliyu (BASA), PDP Candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, has congratulated Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his victory in the 2026 Osun State Governorship Election.

BASA described the outcome as a reflection of the people’s mandate, commending the people of Osun State for peacefully exercising their democratic rights and participating actively in the electoral process.

She noted that the election underscores the importance of citizens’ participation in democracy and reaffirms that the will of the people must always prevail through the ballot.

The PDP candidate also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, political parties and other stakeholders for their roles in ensuring a peaceful electoral process.

BASA urged political leaders and stakeholders to continue to promote credible, peaceful and transparent elections, stressing the need to strengthen Nigeria’s democratic institutions.

She congratulated Governor Adeleke and the people of Osun State on the victory, describing it as a significant moment for democratic participation and good governance.
