🇳🇬 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE NIGERIAN ARMY RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Thinking about joining the Nigerian Army? 🇳🇬🪖
Before you apply, here are important things every applicant should understand:
🥰 1. RECRUITMENT IS FREE
You should never pay anyone to secure a recruitment slot for you. Beware of fraudsters and anyone promising “connections.”
🥰 2. APPLY THROUGH THE OFFICIAL PLATFORM
Always follow the Nigerian Army’s official recruitment instructions. Avoid unofficial agents, middlemen and suspicious websites.
🥰 3. READ THE REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY
Make sure you meet the required age, educational, medical and other conditions for the specific recruitment category.
🥰 4. KEEP YOUR DOCUMENTS READY
Applicants may be required to present original educational certificates and other relevant documents during screening.
🥰 5. SHORTLISTING COMES BEFORE SCREENING
After applications are processed, shortlisted candidates are published through the appropriate official recruitment platform.
🥰 6. FOLLOW THE SCREENING LOCATION INSTRUCTIONS
For the 91RRI process, shortlisted candidates were directed to report to their respective states of origin for screening.
🥰 7. NIN & BVN ARE IMPORTANT
Candidates were instructed to come with their NIN and BVN slips during the screening exercise.
🥰 8. NEVER SUBMIT FAKE DOCUMENTS
Forged or falsified documents can lead to disqualification and may result in withdrawal from training.
🥰 9. SAY NO TO BRIBERY AND “CONNECTIONS”
Do not give money or inducements to anyone claiming they can guarantee your recruitment.
🥰 10. FOLLOW EVERY INSTRUCTION CAREFULLY
Recruitment procedures can change from one exercise to another. Always check the official announcement for the particular intake.
🇳🇬 REMEMBER:
Recruitment into the Nigerian Army is a competitive process. Meeting the requirements does not automatically guarantee selection.
🛡️ Stay alert. Stay honest. Stay prepared.
🔥 STRONG PROVERB:
“A soldier who trusts his preparation does not need to bribe the gatekeeper; when the gate opens, his readiness speaks for him.” 🇳🇬🪖
