OK SUPPORT GROUP INAUGURATES ASARI-TORU LGA CHAPTER

The inauguration of the OK Support Group, Asari-Toru Chapter, marks another significant milestone in the movement’s continued grassroots expansion across Rivers State. The chapter brings together experienced political actors, community leaders, youths, women, and dedicated stakeholders committed to advancing the vision of Rt. Hon. Ogundu Kingsley (O.K.) Chinda.

Leading the chapter is Comrade Godson Eferebo, whose commitment to grassroots mobilization, teamwork, and effective leadership has earned him the confidence of members and supporters alike. Under his leadership, the chapter is well-positioned to strengthen the movement’s presence throughout Asari-Toru Local Government Area.

Speaking on the inauguration, a respected Rivers elder statesman described the chapter as “an assemblage synonymous with delivery,” noting that its members are individuals with proven records of service, loyalty, and successful political mobilization. He emphasized that the strength of the chapter lies not only in its numbers but also in the experience, credibility, and dedication of those who make up the movement.

OK SUPPORT GROUP HOLDS SUCCESSFUL INAUGURAL MEETING IN OBIO/AKPOR LGA

The Obio/Akpor Chapter of the OK Support Group successfully held its inaugural meeting, marking a significant step in strengthening grassroots mobilization and expanding the movement across the Local Government Area.

The meeting, led by the Obio/Akpor LGA Coordinator, Mr. Achinike Owhomka, recorded an impressive turnout despite heavy rainfall, reflecting the commitment, resilience, and growing support for the movement.

In his remarks, Mr. Owhomka appreciated members for their dedication and unwavering belief in the vision of the OK movement. He encouraged them to remain united and committed to advancing the ideals of purposeful leadership and sustainable development in Rivers State.

A major highlight of the meeting was the unveiling of the Local Government Executive Committee and Ward Coordinators, who will spearhead grassroots mobilization and coordinate activities across the LGA. Members were also briefed on the vision, objectives, and strategic plans of the OK Support Group, with emphasis on unity, inclusive leadership, and community engagement.

The leadership further updated members on preparations for the forthcoming State Inauguration, expected to attract over 30,000 supporters and stakeholders from across Rivers State. Constituency meetings are scheduled to begin in the coming weeks, while the immediate formation of Ward Executive Committees was approved to strengthen the movement at the grassroots level.

The meeting ended with members reaffirming their commitment to intensify mobilization efforts and continue advancing the vision of Rt. Hon. Ogundu Kingsley (O.K.) Chinda through unity, dedication, and people-centered leadership.

INAUGURATION OF OK SUPPORT GROUP WORKING COMMITTEES.

As a way of strengthening the works of the OK Support Group, various committees were inaugurated to move the Group forward.

The Committees inaugurated are:
1. Central Planning Committee
2. Protocol Committee
3. Inauguration Planning Committee
4. State EXCO / LGA Coordinators Committee
5. Contacts and Mobilization Committee
6.Media Committee

In his inauguration speech, the Director General, Engr. Ovunda Chinda reiterated the need for members in the various groups to take their tasks very seriously, with utmost sense of commitment.
While thanking those that attended despite their busy schedules, the DG added that there's an urgent need for members to up the ante, especially in view of the approaching State Inauguration, which is due to take place in less than one month.
He reminded the house that OK Support Group is gaining widespread acceptance within Rivers State and beyond and we cannot therefore, let ourselves down in achieving our set goals and targets, even as all nominations are voluntary.
The DG also used the opportunity to inform members of forthcoming sensitization workshop for the Group. Protocols, Communication and other aspects of etiquette and good conduct will be treated during the workshop, which will take place in no distant time.
The workshop he stated, will also harp on the Sterling qualities of our Principal, Rt. Hon. O.K Chinda MHR, thus arming us with weapons to use while spreading the 'good news' of the movement.
Highpoint of the meeting was the nomination of Chairmen and Secretaries for the various committees, after which acceptance speech was given by Mr. Mgbo-Owaji Augustus on behalf of the newly inaugurated Chairmen and Secretaries.

As part of its continued engagement with key stakeholders and community-based organizations, the leadership of the OK Support Group, led by the Director General and Convener, Engr. Ovunda Chinda, held a fruitful meeting with members of Indigenes Without Borders, Rivers State.

As part of its ongoing grassroots engagement and stakeholder consultations, the leadership of the OK Support Group, under the leadership of the Director General and Convener, Engr. Ovunda Chinda, paid a courtesy visit to the leaders and people of the Igwuruta Ali Community.

The visit fostered meaningful discussions on the future of Rivers State, with emphasis on unity, people-centered governance, and the need for collective action in advancing sustainable development across the state.

During the engagement, the leaders of the Igwuruta Ali Community warmly received the delegation and reaffirmed their unwavering support and commitment to the gubernatorial aspiration of Rt. Hon.
