CHAPTER 7

With this new revelation Amira heard she ran away from home without anyone knowing of her way about.

Her parent tried calling her number but to know avail so they had to go to her school to know if she was their but she wasn't this made them more worried than ever

When the couples were passing Micheal saw them and he knew had see this face somewhere so he recalled to himself and said is this not Amira's parents this one they are at our school with a long face I thought she left for home some days ago

So he went after them calling Mr and Mrs James so they looked back to check who was calling them. So Micheal introduced himself as Amira's school mate back then and the couple looked and their self and knew thy had heard this name from somewhere so they remembered that it was the guy who their daughter was always telling them about anytime she comes back home. And they said

Are you the Micheal who my daughter was always telling us about since her primary school till now and she decided to further her education at this university because it was the same one you wanted to attend.

With this word Micheal was shy and surprised because he did not know that Amira decided to come to this university because of him. So he asked ...

Why have you people come to our school today and how is Amira your daughter hope she is fyn and returned home safely because she left without informing anyone of her way about.

With this words the lady began to weep and Micheal was scared because he did not know what was wrong he feared in his mind that something bad had happened to Amira with this many bad thoughts came to his mind and Imagination. So while the man was consoling his wife he told Micheal to follow them to a nearby restaurant so they could explain the situation to him.

CHAPTER 6
The old woman with a suspicious look in her eye had many questions to ask the man and she started .....

why have you come in search of your daughter for so many years? Why did you abandon ur wife that she had to drop her child at the orphanage home?

Why did you abandon your family when they needed you the most? Now you come here to ask proudly about ur child without any shame at all.

The man inraged with the questioning and insult wanted to lash out on the woman but he maintained his self. Because he knew if he reacted they would suspect him even more and he knew of his evil plan wouldn't succeed if he reacted and he might end up in jail again and this time it would be for long. With a kind voice he said

" I will answer all your questions one by one if u stop asking and he stopped and thought to himself. Then he started with tears in his eyes

You asked why I was coming now to search for my daughter I left for a trip and I did not know that my wife was already pregnant for me then..on my trip my flight had an accident and some passengers survived including me but I lost my memory in the accident. Due to my lost of memory I was not able to remember I had a family somewhere. So I was in the hospital for my recovery. So after some weeks a kind lady saw me at the hospital and deside to pay my bills and take me to her home.

When we got thier she asked me what was my name but I wasn't able to answer my name so she helped me to in regaining my memory so after some years I was able to remember it with the method she used because she was a doctor at a very known hospital.

When she saw I was making progress she told me how she saw me in the hospital and why she picked interest in helping me

And she said... the doctor told me how your condition was worse because u couldn't even remember your name so I decided to help out because I knew within me that you are man with a family and ur family will be missing you by now..

So after that our conversation I knew I had to try my best to regain my lost memory back so I could go find my family if I had one ...

So after some years a was able to recover a little bit and I remembered I had a family and one daughter who I loved and cherished a lot

So one day I informed the lady that I needed to go back to my country to look for my family who I have lost for so many years and who may have thought that I had died in the plane crash. So the woman with a happy smile said
...by tomorrow I will make sure your paper will be ready for your travel I wish you well and I pray you will see ur family with good Condition so the next day I flew back but met the opposite of my prayer

I saw that my house was empty and no one to tell me anything about my family. So I decided to search the house for clues when I saw this letter my wife dropped for me stating the orphanage which she kept our daughter.

With this his lies he groaned to himself because he knew that his lies will help him achieve his goals.

The woman who brought him to the office with the description he used In explaining the girl whispered to the onwer of the orphanage I know of the little girl he is talking about I was the one that found her on the door step that day, she had a birth mark. That day was a Thanksgiving day for this orphanage. We saw her on the door step which we named her blessing,which was because of the day we saw her.

With this explanation the old woman was able to Remember her. So she asked her if the girl was still with us but she said know and told her that she was adopted many years ago my a rich couple. So she asked her to bring the register book to check the name of the family who adopted her.

With this whispering and everything Amira's father became suspicious that his daughter had been adopted so he waited so he could hear from the horses mouth.

So when the woman came back she came with the register so the check the years back adoption process and saw that blessing which was Amira's name at the orphanage was adopted by Mr and Mrs James who came their years back explaining their situation of not been able to have children.and she knew that they were rich couples and did not want to tell Amira father because she did not trust him.even though she read the letter of his wife

She told him to leave the paper with her because it was going to be used as an evidence in the future. What they did not know was that their was something written at the back in a fainted way by Amira's mum.

So the woman kept it in her drawer because it was safe their and she locked it.

So she told the man that he had to Come back some days later that they were not able to find the name he was talking about that they need to do some search more.

With a suspicious look the man had to leave the orphanage in other not to be exposed because he knew he had to take things slow no matter what. So he left.

When he left the two women knew that they had to notify the couples about the situation at hand because on that day they came for the adoption, they made it clear to them that they were not going to tell the girl that she was adopted because they feared for the outcome

They die not know how they would inform the couple about the situation at hand.

So the next day they invited the couple to the orphanage they did not know what to say to the couple. With trembling mouth they said

Just yesterday a men came to this orphanage claiming that Amira was his daughter and they showed them the letter he dropped and also told them of the man's tragic story of his plane crash.

The couple stared at each othe dumbfounded
And knew it was a serious case. The first thing that struck thier mind was how Amira would react to this if she heard it. So they knew they had to make a decision quickly.

So that was what they were discussing before Amira came home and heard it all. When she heard it she was I shock and she ran away though she was ill.

CHAPTER 5

At Amira's house her parents were arguing on a serious matter, the adoption home in which the two couples adopted Amira was having an issue because Amira's biological father came searching for her their after finding some information that his wife which he always maltreatment had a girl child for him before passing away

The thing is that Amira's mother and father got into a forced marriage and he hated her to the extend that he always maltreated her badly with any slightest mistake she made. So one day when he was drunk he came home in that state when Amira's mother had already gone to bed. He went to were she was lying down and began to hit her, with that, he r***d her.

But the next day he was not able to remember all that happened. Amira's father was later arrested because of his illegal doings.

Later on Amira mother was left alone and she found out that she was pregnant and she also had cancer and won't live for long. So when she gave birth to Amira, she knew her days were short and she didn't want her daughter to live hopelessly so she dropped her by the door of the orphanage.

Some month's past and Amira mother died but before she died she had to write a letter hoping that one of her relatives would see it and adopt her daughter but none of them saw it instead it was her husband who was later released from jail after several years that saw the letter. when he saw the letter he thought to him self saying

" that foolish woman was cheating on me under my nose, she is so lucky that she died if not I should have made her suffer for what she did"

With this thought he "sighed" and he thought again to himself

But come to think of it that girl will be of great help to me now I am in desperate need of money that stupid jail wouldn't let me do my gambling in peace!.

I will have to get that girl back form the orphanage at all cost. I will lie to her telling her I am her real father. If she buys my lie I will use her to get the money I was not able to get for years now. What a Brilliant Idea he thought to himself. With this thought he thanked his dead wife for leaving a clue for him and for also Cheating on him and also having a girl child.

The next day he journeyed to the orphanage in search for the girl which he did not know was his biological daughter. Before he went their he had to borrow some expensive clothes from his gambling friends and he told them of his plans and they were all happy because they knew that they will all gain from it. He dressed on suit which made him looked as if he was rich. One of the things Amira's mother wrote in the latter was how they would be able to find her.

Amira's mother explained in the letter that Amira had a birth mark on the left side of her mouth and she also had Grey eyes and she had a dot on her thumb nail hand which she did her self and the name of the orphanage.

That was why he was confident enough to go to the orphanage. Because he knew what to describe her as.

When Amira's father arrived at the orphanage he was digusted of the kids he saw there because he said to himself "I don't have any kid, they creep me out!".

So he asked the lady who was looking after those kids of the owner of the orphanage and she directed him there but he was looking around to see if he would see a girl with the description his wife made but he couldn't find her. So he followed her to the owners office.

When he got their the owner who was a lady asked him "are you here to adopt a child?" Which he replied "no". Instead he told them " I am here to look for my daughter which my wife dropped at ur door step nineteen years ago " then he gave her the description of the girl.

But the owner could not remember because it was a long time ago and she was getting old.

So the woman asked him another question which got him confused of what to say.

CHAPTER 4

Amira stayed and watch and saw how Micheal rejected all the girls who offered him gift coldly. Immediately Micheal saw Amira watching,and Becka who just arrived at the library saw the way Amira was looking at Micheal with the confession gift in her hand she pushed Amira to the side and rushed hastily to Micheal and offered her gift to him saying...

With a low voice "Micheal this is not a confession gift this is a gift which I am offering to you as a course mate which we are and if u don't accept this gift I will be heart broken and it will be a sign that you hate me"

But nobody was able to hear their conversation. Micheal reluctantly accepted the gift not knowing her true intension when Micheal was not absent minded she hugged him and when Amira saw this she rushed out of the library but missed the part when Micheal pushed Becka away. He wanted to chace after her but he did not and that was when Becka realized that Micheal actually loved Amira back but what she could not understand was why he couldn't tell her.

Amira on the second was in her hostel room crying about what she encountered in the library.When Amira's two roomate came back from lectures they started praising Amira for being courageous of confessing her feelings to her boyfriend because rumors had already spread that Micheal rejected other girls confession gift except one girl.

Amira hid her pain and acted like she was okay but her roomates did not get it. when Becka got back and saw the depressed look on Amira's face she began to tell her two other roomate on how she confessed to a guy she liked and he reprocicated her feelings back and also accepted her gift and gave her a hug. Amira who was on her bed pretending as if she was asleep heard everything and began to sob again on her bed.

The next day while Amira was walking along the school hallway of her lecture class, she was lost in thought when a girl stepped on her shoe and she fell down, Amira came back to her senses and couldn't understand what happened. When she stood up she said to the girl

" are you blind or something how could you consciously step on me like that and fall me down like that even with your glass u can't still differentiate a person and floor?!"

while the girl was trying to explain, Amira slapped her with the boiling anger she had in her. Micheal who was passing along saw everything that happened and came closer with a harsh voice he said to Amira

"Why do you have a wicked and heartless seed sowed In you? I thought you will change once you are in a new environment but no, you are still that heartless soul that I have known for years now!"

With this words he helped the girl pick up her glasses and left with her. He took her to the nearby infirmary to get some pain relief because she was already crying.

With all this Amira didn't go to class again she went back to her room crying and reflecting on the hurtful words Micheal told her. For days Amira missed her classes and was always indoor she did not leave her room and she fell seriously ill.

Her two roomates who cared for her tried their possible best to take care of her but it was proven abortive and they advised her to either go home or go to the school clinic for proper medications.

Amira who always hated going to the hospital decide to go home but did not inform her parents that she was visiting home not only because of her condition but because she missed her parents. She said only her parents can't lie to her and they don't cause her pain and they will make her gain her strength back.

The next day Amira left the school without informing her roomates or any person of her whereabouts because she did not want any body to know.

When Amira got home her parents were in dispute and she heard the most heart breaking news ever.

CHAPTER:3

That incident didn't put Amira In shame instead it motivated her to pursue her love. In the university Amira's roomates were three plus her making them four, they talked on how brutally the handsome guy rejected her in front of everyone, Amira being a smart girl lied to them that he was her boyfriend who does not want their relationship to be known by anyone she also lied that they have known and dated for two years straight,and they are so much in love with each other. Her two roommate believed but one who noticed the way she behaved while telling the story knew that something was wrong. And she said to herself

"Wow what a liar she is, how could this girls fall for such a small lie ?, she thinks she is smart but I am more smarter than she is how could a handsome, charming boy like a girl like her and not me it is not possible" if he is not with me then no one can take him away from me never. To herself she said I am beautiful talented and smart why won't he face for me.

When Amira was done with her tale, her roomates started talking about their life but Amira with her harsh nature left them immediately after the topic was changed she was happy that she had cleared the rumors of her public disgrace. So she went to take her bath and she slept off leaving them still discussing.

The next day of Amira's first university class she wore expensive items which drew the attention of everyone present. she thought to her self maybe this will be able to draw the attention of her ture love but what happened was the opposite. When he saw her he just walked passed her and did not even notice her presence. This act made her angry but she just pretended and went to her class without looking back. When she came to the class she was filled with anger that she ignored all the gifts and complements boys who were so dazzled by her gave her she just left them there and left. But the boys never still gave up on her.

One day in their school the journalist announced to the school that the school was having confession week and the best way of expressing love is giving gift and confessing to the one they loved. When Amira heard this news she was so happy that she would be able to confess her feelings to Micheal, her romate who was also in love with Micheal had her own plans. This her roomate name was Becka she was in the same faculty as Micheal so she believed that she was in great advantage of confessing her feelings first to him because he was always in class, he was busy and didn't need distractions.

Amira's roomate while in their hostel brought up the topic of the announcement of the coming confession week and they said Micheal will receive so many gift because he had many girls wishing he was theirs. When Amira heard it she said he is only mine have you forgotten that he is my boyfriend and her two roomate said......

...."Wow what a lovey dovey, you are so lucky to be with the man of many girls desire. besides both of u are meant for each other Wow!...."

When the confession week was approaching their school was in chaos because girls were busy with the preparation for the confession week.

So when the week finally came Amira saw how girls were confessing to the ones they loved. she saw how some got rejected and some their heart were same in love.

Amira thought to her self what if Micheal does not reprocicate her love back and he rejects her publicly and the lies she told her roomate will be revealed.

So she decided to go to the library to read and as well think of the risk she is about to take. while she was their she looked ahead and noticed that Micheal was there too so she decide to give him hef presents and confess but something made her to withdraw.

CHAPTER 2

AMIRA'S JOURNEY INTO THE UNIVERSITY

It was the first day of resumption, students were walking in and out of the campus, laughing and talking with each other.

A blue flashy car drove in with a loud screech and came to a stop in front of the students who stared in anticipation for who it was.

The door opened and a tall fair guy stepped out, gaining the attention of all the ladies who screamed in joy.

"Michael!"
"Oh my gosh!!! He's so handsome "

"So hot! ... I love you Michael!!"

"Is he a senio! He is so much my type

"He is just like a god "

Michael in his calm nature did not care about those comments, he remained focused because he had goal to become one of the world best known Doctors ever known. Not that he didn't believe in Love though.

Earlier in his life, his both parents died and left him alone to the hands of his uncle. Because of this, he hardly expressed himself when he truly meant something. Since his childhood he lived with the shock of his parents leaving him at a very young age, and the dangers he faced. His family was a very happy one but his parents were always busy they did not have much time to spend with him they always missed to have fun with him, unfortunately, they died too early.

Michael was a straight forward person who chases what ever he wanted till the very end, just the way he was determined to chase his degrees.

Amira, dressed in her corporate white and black, strolled into the school. Her beauty radiated through the atmosphere, calling the attention of onlookers but she didn't care about others, she had a prideful aura as she walked in.

Some guys smiled to her as she passed by but she barely even acknowledged their presence. "for we know what the heart wants the heart wants"

Her eyes looked up and she saw a familiar figure stepping out of a blue car.
"Mike?"

She couldn't believe that she found him effortlessly. Mike was a senior in their high-school and upon hearing that he attended Oxford University, She then strived to go there and she made it, she was also very smart.

With anxiousness, she approached him, pushing everyone aside till she got in front of him, her lips curled up into a pretty smile.

"Mike" she smiled at him with hope that he would be at least happy to see her but surprisingly, Michael kept a straight face and walked passed her, making the people who saw what happened to burst out with laughter

Synopsis

Aftdr successfully gaining admission into the university, She unknowingly falls in love with a guy who surprisingly doesn't love her.

The guy kept rejecting her and hurting her pride and most times she would feel embarrassed.

After so much rejections, her pride and pompousity melted away
She had no idea that the guy actually loved her too but he did not like her prideful character.

CHAPTER 1

THE ARRIVAL OF AMIRA

Mr and Mrs James were two lovely couples who loved each other dearly because their love story started from when they were little in secondary school. During their youth age in secondary school they were known as lovers who cared and catered for one another both in academics and so on, they never allowed their love to know know boundaries.

After their marriage, which was known by everyone who attended it who couldn't stop talking about it and how they were destined for each other from Birth. coming to the present they were couples who were looking for a child after so many years of their marriage but that didn't affect their Marriage.

So while on their search for a child they had to see a doctor who advised them to go for adoption, which they went home and thought about, so they both agreed on it with the conclusion that their adopted child would never know she was adopted.

On the agreed date, a beautiful little girl was adopted and was named Amira by her foster parents, the name meant 'princess '.

Her parents treated her like a princess, they gave her everything she ever asked for, up to the extent of spoiling her. She never had to ask twice because before she would even ask, her parents would give it to her.

She developed pride and also became disrespectfuland her parents did not do anything to correct her, they always pampered her because she was their only child.

Amira grew up and finished her primary and secondary school with her disrespectful nature but things changed when she got into the university
