BIGGTHINGSCOMING MOVEMENT CONDEMNS DEADLY ATTACK ON BIN-PER, CALLS FOR URGENT ACTION TO PROTECT COMMUNITIES

The BiggThingscoming Movement led by our principal Sunday Garba Biggs, PDP Governorship Candidate, strongly condemns the horrific terrorist attack on the Bin-Per community in Kombun District of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, where police reported 25 people, including women and children, were killed in the early hours of Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

We are deeply saddened and outraged by this latest attack on innocent and defenceless citizens. The killing of women and children is a grave assault on humanity and yet another painful reminder of the persistent insecurity confronting vulnerable communities across Plateau State.

We extend our deepest condolences to the families who have lost loved ones and to the entire Bin-Per community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families, the injured, and all those affected by this tragic incident.

The BiggThingscoming Movement calls on Government and all relevant security agencies to urgently strengthen the security structure.

We regret that the people are living in fear and have abandon their homes and farmlands.
We call for a thorough and transparent investigation into these attacks with the culprits brought to book.

The BiggThingscoming Movement stands firmly with the people of Bin-Per, the entire Mangu community and Plateau State at this painful moment.

We urge the people to remain vigilant and continue to support lawful efforts toward peace and security.

PDP LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATES IN PLATEAU STATE ENGAGE BIGGTHINGSCOMING MOVEMENT

The BiggThingsComing Movement, led by the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate for Plateau State, Sunday Garba Biggs, hosted PDP Local Government Chairmanship Candidates for an engagement aimed at strengthening collaboration, addressing concerns and deepening commitment to the success of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Speaking during the engagement, Sunday Garba Biggs appreciated the candidates for their sacrifices, commitment and continued efforts towards strengthening the party at the grassroots. He acknowledged the concerns surrounding the prolonged delay in the local government elections, noting that the candidates had invested significant resources and endured additional financial and personal pressures as a result of the delay. He assured them that their concerns were understood and emphasized the need for deeper collaboration, unity and collective action to ensure victory for the PDP.
Mr Biggs shared his vision and development plan if elected within the remaining four year mandate of the central zone.

The Forum Leader, Sylvanus Datong, Esq., expressed appreciation to Sunday Garba Biggs for providing the platform for the engagement and for recognizing the importance of the chairmanship candidates within the party structure. The PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, Sunday Garba BIGGS, today paid a congratulatory visit to family of Alhaji and Hon. (Hajiya) Sarki Zakari on the occasion of their daughter's wedding.

The mother, Hon (Hajiya) Zainab Dogo - Zakari is the PDP candidate for the Plateau State House of Assembly, Qua’an Pan South Constituency.

The couple warmly received Sunday Garba BIGGS and his team made up of Senate, House of Representatives and House of Assembly candidates and members of the BiggThingscoming movement as they joined the family in celebrating the joyous occasion and sharing in their happiness.

I received with deep sadness the news of the passing of Rt. Hon. Peter Ajang Azi, former Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly. His death is a painful loss to his family, his community and our dear Plateau State.

Rt Hon Azi was a committed public servant who gave a significant part of his life to the service of his people. His tenure as Speaker and his years of engagement in public life reflected his dedication to the development of Plateau State and the strengthening of our democratic institutions. Beyond the offices he occupied, I remember him as a man who remained connected to the people and passionate about the wellbeing of his constituents.

At this difficult moment, my thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, political associates and all those who mourn his passing. I pray that Almighty God will comfort the family, grant them the strength to bear this painful loss and grant the soul of Rt. Hon. Peter Ajang Azi eternal rest.

May the legacy of service he leaves behind continue to speak for him, and may his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.

BIGGS PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO RT. HON.GEORGE DAIKA’S FAMILY...MEETS PDP LGA CHAIRMEN

Plateau State PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, Sunday Garba BIGGS has paid a condolence visit to the family of Rt. Hon. George Daika following the passing of his mother.

He described the loss of a mother as deeply painful, drawing from his own experience of losing his mother. He encouraged the bereaved family to remain strong in faith and continue to pray for the repose of the deceased and for God’s comfort and strength.

Mr Biggs also urged mourners who still have their mothers alive to honour, cherish and care for them, emphasizing that a mother’s presence is a priceless blessing that should never be taken for granted.

The Daika family expressed their profound appreciation to the BiggThingscoming Movement, led by Sunday Garba BIGGS and his deputy Chief Austin Pam Dalyop, for identifying with them and standing with the family during their moment of grief.

Mr Biggs also held an engagement with PDP LGA Chairmen, where discussions focused on party activities, developments within the party and current happenings affecting the PDP and the BiggThingscoming Movement.

Sunday Garba BIGGS today joined the family, traditional institution, friends and well-wishers at the burial of the late Dikam Idi (Burum) Denan, father of the District Head of Bungha, in Mangu, Da Danladi Denan.
The late elder passed away after a protracted illness at the remarkable age of 105.
Mr BIGGS expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and joined them in celebrating the life and legacy of the deceased.

Mr BIGGS also paid a condolence visit to the palace of the District Head of Bungha, Da Danladi Denan, son of the late elder.
He commiserated with the family and prayed for comfort, strength and peace as they mourn the passing of their beloved father.

To round off his engagements, Mr BIGGS also visited the former PDP Chairman of Mangu Local Government, Da Ayuba Goje, who is currently unwell. He offered prayers and words of encouragement, wishing the Party chieftain a speedy recovery and renewed strength.

Plateau State PDP Governorship candidate, Sunday Garba Biggs has received a delegation of PDP Plateau State workers at his office.

The group was led by Mr. Alex Kudu, Chief Administrative Secretary of the PDP Plateau State Workers.

Mr. Kudu thanked Mr Biggs for his consistent support, encouragement, and recognition of the party workforce’s contributions.

He noted that although workers often operate behind the scenes, they remain committed to the smooth functioning of the party and were encouraged that their efforts have been acknowledged.

In his remarks, Mr. Biggs thanked the delegation for the visit and praised the workers’ dedication, loyalty, and sacrifices.
