We finished eating and I packed the dishes.
“Hold on” Kiara said and I stopped.
“What’s the matter??” I asked
“I can’t be here while you pack the dishes” Kiara said and tried to collect the dishes from me, but I didn't give it to her.
“No, you're my guest, so I should be the one to do anything concerning house chores” I said and headed to the kitchen.
“Then I won't let you be at peace” Kiara said and rushed after me.
“What do you planning to do now??” Kiara asked
“I want to clean the kitchen, everywhere is just looking terribly dirty so I need to tidy it up” I said
“Okay, let’s do it this way, you handle the washing of dishes, while I mop the floor” Kiara said
“No, you don’t have to do anything, just sit down and watch, I’ll do everything in just five minutes, don’t worry” I said and started washing the dishes.

I can't just sit down there and watch Jace do everything all by himself.
I understand that he doesn't want me to do anything because I’m his guest but that doesn’t mean I should stay idle while he works.
I need to get the mop bucket but if I ask him about where to get it, he wouldn’t want to tell me.
“Jace I’ll be back soon” I said and headed out of the kitchen.
“Where to?” Jace asked
“I’m coming, I need to get something” I replied and hurried to the compound.
I saw a lady at the garage and I went to her.
“Hi, please I need the mop bucket” I said and she looked at me from head to toe.
Instead of granting me my request, she crossed her legs and continued drinking from the glass cup in her hand, as if I don’t even exist.
“Hey Miss, I need a mop bucket” I repeated and again, she ignored me.
“What’s the matter with you Miss?? I’m asking you to get me the mop bucket but you acted like I don't even exist, what’s your problem??” I shouted and she faced me.
“Excuse me little b*tch! Did you hear it from anyone that I’m the cleaner of this house??! Why can’t you just go into the store room and get whatever you want there??!” she shouted, rolling her eyes.
“Hold on, have we met before?? Because I don't understand why you’re so mean to me... Do you even know who you’re talking with??! This is Kiara Katie! And point of correction, don’t you ever, I repeat ever open that filthy mouth of yours and call me a little b*tch, okay?! Nonsense” I shouted and she stood up.
“Who the hell are you??!” she shouted
“Excuse me!?? For your information, I’m not here to work for money unlike you, poor like a church rat!” I said
“Who said I'm working here for money??”
“If you’re not working for money here, then what else are you working for?? Brainless fool!... Look here, I’m not here to quarrel or argue with some old hag like you, I just need a mop bucket to clean the kitchen since you’re so useless to even think of cleaning the house!” I said firmly and left angrily.
“You should have waited to hear my reply, useless slut!” the lady said but I care less as I headed to where the g*te keeper sat.
“Excuse me young man, where is the store room located??” I asked the man.
“It’s the room beside the kitchen” the man replied softly.
“Thank you sir, you’re such a nice person, you’re different from the stupid old hag over there” I said and sneered at the lady.
“It’s a pleasure ma’am, you’re such a pretty damsel” the g*te keeper said and I smiled.
The lady kept staring at me as I walked in majestically.
If you say you’re crazy, then I’ll make you understand that I’m more crazier than you.
Useless girl.
I went to get the mop bucket and entered the kitchen only to find it neat and well arranged.
Gosh!
Jace has done everything before I could get back with the mop bucket.
And it’s all that stupid girl’s fault.
“Where have you been?? I waited for you here since you said you needed to get something urgently, but when you didn’t show up, that’s why I left the kitchen” Jace said as he entered the kitchen.
“Yeah, I didn’t know the store room is here, so I had to go to one of your workers and ask them to show me where it’s located” I said back.
“Why did you want to know where the store room is??” Jace asked
“I wanted to mop the floor but unfortunately, you’ve done that before I could even get back with the mop bucket” I replied
“Oh that’s so sweet of you” Jace said and pulled me into a hug.
“Let’s go to the garden, I got a small place specially arranged for you” Jace said, disengaging from the hug.
“Really??” I asked, looking at him.
“Yeah, come with me” he replied and grabbed my hand in his, then together we headed to the garden.
The moment we stepped into the beautiful, quiet garden, I noticed a small portion of the it which was well decorated.
The lights on the flowers, the petals on the floor, the smoothly chopped flowers of different heights and the beautiful song playing on a low volume, all made it more special from the rest of the portions of the garden.
“Wow! This is so beautiful, such a great sight to behold!” I said out loud and Jace chuckled.
“Come, let’s sit” Jace said and we both sat on the green grass.
“How did you managed to get this place decorated so beautifully??” I asked, looking at him.
“Well, I’m very good at surprising people and I’m also an event planner, so it’s not that difficult to prepare all these” Jace replied
“Wow! You really tried, like seriously you swept me off my feet!” I shouted.
“So would you care for some fruits??” Jace asked
“Of course, I would love to have apple” I replied
“Only apple??” Jace asked
“You can add some other kinds of fruit but let apple be the most of all” I replied back
“Okay” Jace said and stood up.
“Don’t stress yourself, just call on your maids to bring it” I said and he smiled.
“I’m not going in to get it, everything is here so I just need to pluck them” he said and it was then I noticed the fruits in the garden.
There are many fruits of different kinds.
“How are you gonna pluck them?? Will you climb the trees” I asked, standing up and Jace chuckled.
“No, I’m not climbing any tree” he replied
“Then how will you-”
“Just calm down and watch” Jace interrupted me and I watched as he said.
He walked to a corner and took a long stick, then came back to where the orange tree is.
“Oh, you'll use the stick to pluck the fruits” I said and he nodded.
He plucked four oranges and I collected the stick from him.
“Let me try” I said and he looked at me.
“You??” he said and chuckled.
I felt embarrassed and dropped the stick angrily.
“Oops! Fell on your bad side. Sorry I didn’t mean to laugh” Jace said, still laughing.
“You didn’t mean to laugh but you’re still laughing” I said angrily.
“Sorry, it’s part of me. Sorry” he said and I went back to sit.
“Okay I’m no more laughing” he said as he walked towards me, though still smiling.
“What’s funny??” I asked
“Actually your actions and face made me laugh” Jace replied
“My actions and face made you laugh??” I asked in confusion and he nodded.
“I don’t understand, how does my actions and face made you laugh??” I asked
“You’re acting like a baby, even your face looks like that of a baby” Jace said and I sneered.
“I’m serious... See that?? You’re making such a funny face again” Jace said and laughed again.
Is this guy okay at all??
“I won’t hesitate to leave if you continue making jest of me” I said and he stopped laughing.
“Sorry, my bad. Okay let’s go back to what we were doing” Jace said and I hesitated at first, but after much persuasion, I stood up and followed him.

It’s getting late already and Kiara isn’t back home yet.
Where could she have gone to??
“Is Kiara not back yet??” Lennie asked, as she entered the sitting room.
“Yes, I’ve been calling her phone since but she isn’t picking up” I replied
“Same here, I called her almost 15 times and she didn’t pick any of my calls” Lennie said
“Are you talking about Kiara??” Janelle asked, as she came from the kitchen with a glass of juice in her hand.
“Yes, did she call you??” I asked
“Nope, she chatted me up instead” Janelle replied
“Really?? What did she say??” Lennie asked
“She told me a guy invited her to his house, so she’s still there” Janelle replied, sitting down on the couch.
“A guy?? Could it be that guy she met at the bar??” I asked
“Oh that cute demi-god??” Lennie added and Janelle shrugged.
“I don’t know, she only said she’s at a guy’s house, that’s all” Janelle said.
Just then, Diamond rushed in, she was just coming from a party.
“Guess what guys???” she shouted as she stood at the centre.
“What is it?? Why barging in like that??” I said.
“Sorry, the news caught me off guard” Diamond said
“What’s it that made you rush in like that??” Lennie asked
“You won’t believe what Kiara sent to me” Diamond said and we all paid attention to her.
“What’s it now?? Just talk” Janelle said as we all awaits what Diamond wanted to show us.
“Take a look at this picture” Diamond said as she showed us the picture of Kiara at a very beautiful garden.
“Hold on, is this the house she told you she is??” I asked Janelle
“Maybe” Janelle replied
“Wow! The place look so cool, look at the decorations” Lennie said, taking another look at the picture.
We were still talking about the picture when Diamond’s phone started ringing.
“It’s a video call from Kiara” Diamond said and we g*thered up to receive the call together.
“Hi girls, look at me!” Kiara shouted in smile, as she run around the garden.
“Oh my world! Are you in heaven??” I gasped as I saw how beautiful the garden is.
“Yes, heaven on Earth” Kiara replied and we all laughed.
“Come on girl, gist us about where you are, who is the guy that’s treating you like a queen??” Janelle asked and Kiara sat down and took the phone in her hand.
“Remember the guy I met at the bar??” Kiara asked and we all nodded.
“Yeah yeah, that hot straight guy” Lennie said
“Exactly!” Kiara squealed.
“Don’t tell me he’s the one that invited you??” I asked
“Of course he is, he’s even here” Kiara said in smile.
“Really??” Diamond said
“Let’s see his face” Lennie said
“Okay, hold on” Kiara said and stood up, then started walking.
“Where is she heading to??” I asked
“Maybe the guy isn’t there with her, so she’s going to where he is” Diamond said
We kept on watching and soon, she stopped behind a guy.
“Jace, say hi to my friends” Kiara said and the guy turned to face her.
“Your friends??” he asked and Kiara nodded.
“Oh video call, sorry” the guy said and looked at the phone.
“Hi ladies” the guy said in smile, waving his hand.
“Hi cutie” I shouted
“Goddamnit! You’re so cute!” Janelle squealed
“Thank you” the guy said in smile and looked at Kiara.
“Your friends are so fun to be with” he said and Kiara smiled.
“That’s exactly why I’m missing them” Kiara said
“Alright ladies, I g*t to go now” the guy said in smile and waved his hand.
“Sure, see you some other time” Diamond said and the guy left.
“Oh my God! Kiara! You’re so lucky!” Lennie said and Kiara smiled.
“We’re always lucky, you know I told you that other groups will be jealous of us when our luck start glowing, don’t worry, I’ll link you up with some guys tomorrow” Kiara said
“Yeah, that’s more like it, they’ll be so jealous, especially Reyna’s group, you know Reyna used to form popularity” I said happily
“That was then, not now that we’re here” Kiara said and we all smiled.
“So you’re coming back home tomorrow right??” Janelle asked
“Nope” Kiara replied
“When will you now come back??” I asked
“In a week time” Kiara replied and we all gasped.
“Come on girl, we’re missing you here” I said and she smiled.
“Don’t worry, you know I can’t accept to stay just like that, he surely must add some things to my price, you know” Kiara said and winked.
“Okay, so you’re coming back in a week time right??” Diamond asked and she nodded.
“Gotta go now babes, see you later” Kiara said and hung up.
“Why would she accept to stay that long??” Lennie groaned.
“Won’t she work to earn more money??” Janelle said
“That’s true” I said and stood up.
“Who is ready for some swimming competition??” I asked and their faces lit up.
“Yeah, I’m in as usual!” Diamond shouted and we all rushed to the pool side.
