The National Orientation Agency (NOA), Soba Local Government Area, has visited Model Primary School Tudunsaibu,Soba as part of its nationwide public enlightenment campaign.
The exercise focused on National Value Reorientation, Flood Mitigation, Government Policies, Programs and Activities, the Nigerian Identity Project, and National Security Awareness.

During the visit, the NOA officers met with the leadership of the school and many students to engage them on these key national issues.

Road Show Conducted by the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Soba Local Government Area

The National Orientation Agency (NOA), Soba Local Government Area, conducted a road show at Soba Market,through Soba Central Motor Park.

The objective of the exercise was to enlighten the public on key national issues, including government policies, flood mitigation, national value re-orientation, security, and the Nigerian identity project.

During the road show, NOA officials interacted with a wide range of stakeholders, including Sarkin Kasuwan Soba, the Chairman and Secretary of NURTW Soba, as well as Sarkin Buhu, among others.

The event recorded significant engagement with community members, contributing to increased awareness and understanding of government initiatives.

THE TB MESSAGES

As the world marks the World TB day today 24th March 2025,the NOA wishes to inform the public to be aware of the following facts about TB and preventive measures to adopt:
1. **What is TB?**
Tuberculosis is a contagious disease caused by bacteria that mainly affects the lungs but can also impact other parts of the body.

2. **How does TB spread?**
TB spreads through the air when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks.

3. **Preventive Measures:**
- Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
- Ensure good ventilation in living spaces.
- Get tested if you have symptoms like a persistent cough, fever, or weight loss.
- Vaccination (BCG vaccine) helps protect children from severe forms of TB.

4. **Early Detection Saves Lives:**
- Visit a healthcare facility if you experience symptoms for more than two weeks.
- TB is curable with proper treatment and medication adherence.
