HUNGER FOR EXTRA AND STAY VICTORIOUS
It was another Tuesday as members of staff gathered at the workplace for a time of worship, fellowship and spiritual nourishment.
The fellowship was ably moderated by the Head, Occupational Safety and Health Department, Mrs. Ola Uche Ukoha.
The exhortation was delivered by the State Coordinator, Mrs. Tessy Wachuku, who anchored her message on 2 Kings 6:1–2, with the theme, “Hunger for Extra and Stay Victorious.”
In her exhortation, she encouraged members of staff to continually hunger for more in their relationship with God, finances, careers and every other area of their lives. She emphasized the importance of building capacity through personal development, diligent study of God's Word, prayer and a deliberate pursuit of growth.
She noted that when individuals build the capacity for “extra,” they position themselves for greater opportunities, access and favour. According to her, increased capacity can open doors and bring both physical and spiritual upliftment.
The State Coordinator further stressed that building capacity requires taking intentional steps and moving forward in faith. She encouraged members not to wait for perfect conditions before pursuing growth and improvement.
Drawing from Jeremiah 29:4, where God instructed the Israelites in captivity to build houses and settle in the land, she reminded members that unfavourable circumstances should not become an excuse for inaction. Rather, everyone should begin to work towards the “extra” they desire, even in challenging environments, trusting God for the outcome.
She concluded by encouraging members to be intentional about personal growth, take courageous steps of faith, and remain committed to their pursuit of excellence while maintaining a strong relationship with God.
The closing formalities were handled by the Chairman of the Fellowship, Apostle Dr. Godspower Onyenma, while the fellowship breakfast was graciously provided by Mrs. Chioma Chidiebere Nkoro.
The fellowship ended on a refreshing and inspiring note, leaving members encouraged to build greater capacity, embrace opportunities and remain victorious in every area of their lives.
