EASTER MESSAGE FROM COMR. MUNIRETU ISAH
National President, Association of Female Comrades (AFC)

Happy Easter, my dear sisters, partners, supporters, and fellow Nigerians.

This beautiful season reminds us of sacrifice, love, and the power of new beginnings. As we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, may it inspire us to rise above challenges, renew our strength, and remain steadfast in purpose.

To every young woman, your voice matters, your dreams are valid, and your future is bright. Keep pushing, keep leading, and keep believing.

I also strongly urge all young women to stay away from drugs and harmful substances. Your health, dignity, and destiny are too valuable to be compromised. Choose wisely, choose growth, and choose a life of impact.

On behalf of the Association of Female Comrades, we encourage everyone to embrace love, stay safe, and make responsible choices as we continue to advocate for inclusion, leadership, and empowerment.

May this Easter bring peace, joy, and renewed hope to you and your families.

Happy Easter!
Comr. Muniretu Isah
National President, AFC

Substance abuse among young women is not just a personal issue — it is a deeper societal concern.

From emotional struggles and peer pressure to economic hardship and trauma, many young women are pushed into substance use as a way to cope with realities they cannot openly express.

What we often label as “bad behavior” is sometimes a silent cry for help.

At the Association of Female Comrades, we believe that understanding the root causes is the first step to solving the problem.

Let’s replace judgment with compassion and create safe spaces where young women can heal and rise again.

Substance abuse doesn’t always look obvious.

Here are 3 signs that a young woman might be silently struggling:

1️⃣ Sudden withdrawal from friends or family
2️⃣ Mood swings & secrecy
3️⃣ Loss of focus or unusual behavior

It’s easy to misjudge, but what they really need is understanding, support, and compassion.

At the Association of Female Comrades HQTS, we are committed to raising awareness, providing support, and helping young women reclaim their lives.

We call on the government, relevant agencies, and health authorities to urgently provide a functional medical care center for residents of Wasa IDP Camp, Abuja, Nigeria.

Access to basic healthcare is a fundamental human right, and the absence of medical facilities continues to put vulnerable lives—especially women and children—at serious risk. Immediate action is needed to prevent avoidable illnesses and deaths.
