Here are some leadership skills I possess that will enhance my role as Ogun Waterside local government Chairman:

Visionary Thinking: I possess the ability to foresee the needs of our community and create a strategic plan that aligns with the socio-economic development goals of our local government.

Effective Communication: I ensure that all stakeholders, including community members, government agencies, and partners, are well-informed about policies, initiatives, and progress.

Problem-Solving: I have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues that affect our community, whether it be in education, agriculture, health, or infrastructure.

Community Engagement: I actively involve community members in decision-making processes, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.

Resource Management: I excel in the efficient allocation and management of resources to ensure maximum benefit for our local government projects, particularly in education, health, and infrastructure.

Collaboration: I work effectively with various stakeholders, including state and federal government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners, to drive the socio-economic development of our region.

Integrity and Transparency: I maintain a high level of integrity and transparency in all my dealings, fostering trust and accountability within the community.

Adaptability: I am able to adjust to changing circumstances and emerging challenges, ensuring that our local government remains responsive and effective in serving the people.

Strategic Planning: I possess strong strategic planning skills, allowing me to set clear goals and prioritize initiatives that deliver the greatest impact on education, agriculture, and other key areas.

THE VALUE OF A GOOD NAME.

*In a world where success is often measured by material possessions or achievements, it is easy to overlook the true value of a good name. But remember, material wealth can be gained and lost, but a good name is something that stays with you forever, and it is better than riches.*

A good name is built on honesty, respect, and kindness. It is earned through consistent actions and genuine intentions. It is not something that can be bought or inherited, but rather something that is cultivated through a lifetime of choices.

Having a good name means being known for your reliability, your trustworthiness, your integrity and your ability to keep your word. It means treating others with fairness and compassion, and always striving to do the right thing to the lowest people in the strata of life who cannot pay you back, even when no one is watching.

A good name is a powerful tool that opens doors of opportunity. It can attract people who want to work with you, collaborate with you, and support you. It can lead to meaningful connections and lasting relationships. It can also inspire others to be their best selves, as they see the example you set.

But perhaps most importantly, a good name is a legacy that you leave behind. Long after you are gone, your name will be remembered and associated with the impact you made on the world. It will be a testament to the values you held dear and the positive influence you had on others.

So, cherish your name and the reputation it carries. Guard it jealously and nurture it with every decision you make. Remember that a good name is not just about personal gain, but about making a difference in the lives of others especially your Children and relatives.

In the end, it is not the material possessions or achievements that define us, but the value of our name, that is why children of armed robbers, fraudster, known wicked people, liars, etc will dropped their names and some will leave their community because of the bad legacy (Name) left by their parents. Strive to leave a legacy of integrity, kindness, and compassion. Be someone who is known for their character, and let your good name be a guiding light in everything you do so that your unborn generation can be proud of your good name.

May God strengthen us to build a good name for ourselves, our family, community, our Church/Mosque that will be everlasting and above all shall not be deleted from the book of life, Amen. Shallom!

Breast Cancer Awareness is a time to come together to raise awareness; promote education and early detection; honor the fallen, and support patients and survivors of breast cancer.

Awareness surrounding breast cancer is incredibly important because early detection can curtail the disease when it is most treatable.

Working together, we can make a difference and rise to the challenge of protecting our women against breast cancer.

International Day of Rural Women, 2022.

On this occasion of International Day of Rural Women, I celebrate with girls and women in Ogun-Waterside and Ogun State in general.

Women have proven, with record, that they can thrive where the environment encourages them to express thier capabilities and contribute thier quota to the development of thier communities.

Women can drive economic growth, fight hunger and lift their own communities out of poverty if given the opportunity.

In all societies, women must be empowered and given a voice in the decision-making processes that affect them and ensure that the voices of young rural women have a better chance of being heard.

In the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, I urge Muslims in Ogun-Waterside LG and Ogun State in general to expand the spiritual benefits of Sallah by promoting peaceful co-existence with each other and people of other faiths, shun religious conflicts in whatever form they may manifest and pray for the unity, peace and stability of the Nation.

We owe ourselves a duty to maximize the opportunities provided by God to seek his face and obtain his favour by praying for ourselves, family and not forgetting to pray for peace and progress of Ogun State and Nigeria.

I wish all Muslims the blessings that come with the importance of today, filled with moments of joy and togetherness.

Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ after crucifixion and burial, it reminds us of the power of divine love, faith and redemption.

Easter also evokes in us the resilience of the human spirit not to give up in the face of seemingly daunting challenges of life.

I urge all Christian faithful to increase thier love for one another rather than hate, live in peacefulco-existence, and let us all remember that the scriptural emphasis of love has so much relevance for us today as a people more than ever before, and thus contribute towards the peace and development Ogun-Waterside LG.

I wish to enjoin our Christian faithful to rekindle thier faith in Christ who overcame prosecution, sufferings, and displayed endurance, steadfastness and above all piety. Jesus Christ represented man’s ability to withstand temporary pain in the hope of everlasting glory.
