NUESA UNIUYO HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SUCCESSFULLY HOLDS CONSTITUENCY VISIT TO THE MECHANICAL/CIVIL ENGINEERING CONSTITUENCY

The NUESA UNIUYO House of Assembly today successfully concluded its constituency visit to the Mechanical/Civil Engineering Constituency as part of its continued commitment to engaging students, promoting inclusive representation, and strengthening communication between the legislative arm and the student body.

The visit commenced with a warm welcome from the President of the Civi/mechanical l Engineering Department, whose address emphasized the importance of collaboration and active student participation. In response, I delivered a goodwill address on behalf of the House of Assembly, reaffirming our commitment to responsive, accessible, and people-centered legislative leadership.

A major highlight of the visit was the interactive session, during which students openly shared their concerns, challenges, and expectations. Questions centered on issues affecting students within the constituency, as well as the procedures and requirements for becoming members of the NUESA House of Assembly. These discussions provided a valuable opportunity to enlighten students on the legislative process while receiving firsthand feedback on matters affecting their academic and campus experience.

In furtherance of our commitment to academic excellence, study materials were distributed to students to support their learning and encourage academic success.

We sincerely appreciate the President and executives of the Mechanical/Civil Engineering Constituency for their warm reception and cooperation, as well as every student who actively participated in the engagement. Your contributions continue to inspire us to serve with greater dedication and accountability.

The NUESA House of Assembly remains committed to bringing leadership closer to the people, listening to students' voices, and advancing initiatives that positively impact the Faculty of Engineering.

CONSTITUENCY VISIT UPDATE – AGRIC & FOOD ENGINEERING CONSTITUENCY

Today, the 10th NUESA House of Assembly successfully held its Constituency Visit to the Agric & Food Engineering Constituency. The visit provided an opportunity for members of the House to engage directly with students, listen to their concerns, share relevant information, and strengthen the relationship between the legislature and the students we represent.

As part of our commitment to supporting academic excellence, study materials were distributed to students to aid their learning and encourage better academic performance.

The Speaker of the House expressed his delight at the remarkable turnout, active participation, and warm reception from the students. He also extended sincere appreciation to the Faculty President, the Departmental President of Agricultural Engineering, and the Departmental President of Food Engineering for their cooperation, support, and contributions toward the success of the visit.

The 10th NUESA House of Assembly remains committed to ensuring that every constituency is heard, represented, and carried along in our legislative activities.

This is to officially inform all members of our constituency that the NUESA 10th House of Assembly, University of Uyo, will be paying a Constituency Visit to the Agric/Food Engineering Constituency.

Date: Wednesday, 15th July, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM Prompt
Venue: Agric Food Lab

This visit is an opportunity to engage directly with your student representatives, raise concerns, share ideas, ask questions and contribute to discussions that will improve our faculty and student welfare.

The 10th NUESA House of Assembly (NHOA) is pleased to announce its upcoming Constituency Visit to all engineering students.

As part of our commitment to supporting students academically, members of the House will be visiting departments within the faculty to interact with students and distribute writing materials such as notebooks, pens, whiteboard markers, etc.

This is to officially call on individuals and organizations for sponsorship and support towards the forthcoming constituency visit. Your contributions will go a long way in ensuring the success of the program.

As we are kick-starting a new semester, The NUESA 10TH HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY thought it wise to visit her constituency to support them with materials that will aid academic excellence during the semester.
