APC Members in Oku II Ward 11 today came out in large numbers during the party’s gubernatorial primary election to reaffirm their support for the second-term bid of our dear Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD.

The exercise provided another opportunity for our people to publicly demonstrate their confidence in the administration of Pastor Umo Eno and his continued vision for the growth and development of Akwa Ibom State.

I commend our Political Leader and Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, for his exemplary leadership, as well as stakeholders of Uyo for ensuring the peaceful and successful conduct of the exercise.

As stakeholders and party faithful of Oku II Ward 11, we gathered today at our ward centre, QIC Government Model Primary School, Oku, for the APC State House of Assembly primary election, where we proudly queued behind the candidacy of Hon. Uwemedimo Asuquo.

‎With one voice, we reaffirmed our support for the returning CAPO as the flagbearer of our great party for Uyo State Constituency ahead of the general elections.
‎
‎I also call on all party faithful to come out en masse tomorrow to support His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, in the governorship primaries as he seeks the party’s ticket for a second term.

Today, I led party faithful of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oku II, Ward 11 to QIC Government Model Primary School, Oku, where the APC Senatorial primary election was conducted peacefully.
‎
‎Using the Option A4 voting system, Senator Aniekan Bassey emerged as the sole candidate and was declared the winner by the Returning Officer, Hon. Ubong Utang, in line with party guidelines.
