CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO THE NEWLY ELECTED NATIONAL EXECUTIVE OF FTAN
On behalf of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN), Akwa Ibom State Branch, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Badaki Aliyu on his emergence as the National President of FTAN, following a successful Annual General Meeting and Election held in Abuja.
We also congratulate the newly inaugurated Executive Council on their well-deserved victory and appointments. This marks the beginning of a promising era for the Federation and indeed the entire tourism industry in Nigeria.
We are inspired by Dr. Aliyu's clear vision and passion as articulated in his acceptance speech, particularly the bold launch of the Tourism Transformation Movement (TTM). This strategic initiative promises to revitalize the tourism landscape, deepen stakeholder engagement, and strengthen the Federation’s institutional capacity across all geopolitical zones.
As a State Chapter, we stand in full support of the TTM agenda and pledge our commitment to working collaboratively with the national leadership to actualize this new vision. We believe that under your leadership, FTAN will witness unprecedented progress through inclusivity, innovation, and effective advocacy.
We also extend our warmest congratulations to Mrs. Justina Ovat on her well-deserved elevation to the position of Second Deputy President. Her dedication, professionalism, and impactful service as the immediate past Vice President (South South) have truly laid a strong foundation for continued growth within the region and beyond.
Likewise, we celebrate the election of Pastor (Mrs) Faith Esohe Essien as the new Vice President (South South). Her passion and commitment to the tourism industry are commendable, and we are confident she will bring fresh energy and strategic direction to the role. The Akwa Ibom State Branch stands ready to support both leaders in their new capacities as we work together to advance the vision of FTAN nationwide.
Once again, congratulations to Dr. Aliyu and the entire Executive Council. May your tenure be marked by growth, unity, and transformational milestones for the tourism sector in Nigeria.
