ATMOSPHERE OF THANKSGIVING AT NYSC ORIENTATION CAMP, AKWA IBOM STATEM

The State Coordinator, NYSC Akwa Ibom, Mrs Ngozu Rosemary Akuagbaogu today, 25/6/26 led Camp officials and Corps members in a gratititude dance to thank God for a successful 2026 Batch B, Stream 2 Orientation Course in the state.

It was indeed an atmosphere of thanks giving as Camp officials and Corps members from Platoon 1 - Platoon 10 joyfully participated in the exercise beyond religious divides.

She used the opportunity to pray and wish the Corps members a successful service year.

2026 BATCH B, STREAM 2 ORIENTATION COURSE CLOSING CEREMONY WILL HOLD ON WEDNESDAY 26TH AUGUST, 2026 AT 9:00 AM.

This is to inform our esteemed invited guests, Corps Employers, Transporters, the Press and the general public that , due to the Public holiday on Tuesday 25/8/26, The NYSC Management has shifted the closing ceremony to Wednesday, 26/8/26 by 9:00 AM prompt at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom state.
This is to also make it easy for Corps members to meet their employers at their Places of Primary Assignments during working days for acceptance and accommodation.

The State Coordinator regrets all inconveniences caused by the shift. She looks forward to welcome you at the event.

CULTURAL CARNIVAL SHOWCASES NATIONAL INTEGRATION AT NYSC ORIENTATION CAMP, AKWA IBOM STATE.

2026 Batch B, Stream 2 Orientation Course Cultural Carnival in Akwa Ibom state was successful and amazing.

The State Coordinator, Mrs Ngozi Rosemary Akuagbaogu presided over the event. She enjoined camp officials and Corps members to always remember that cultural remains a veritable tool for national integration, holistic development , peace, unity and tourism.

Results announced by the Panel of Judges:

(A) Inter - Platoon Filling the bottle competition.
*1st position - Platoon 7
*2nd Position - Platoon 1
* 3rd Position - Platoon 10.

(B). Inter - Platoon Cooking competition.
*1st position - Platoon 8
*2nd position - Platoon 10.
*3rd position -Platoon 4.

(C). Best Royal Adore King & Queen.
*1st Position - Platoon 4. ( Igbo).
*2nd Position - Platoon 9 ( Tiv)
* 3rd Position - Platoon 3 ( Ijaw)

( D). Cultural Carnival
*1st Position - Platoon 5 ( Gbagi Culture ).
*2nd Position - Platoon 4 ( Igbo Culture).
*3rd Position - Platoon 2 ( Ibibio).

Highlight of the event was presentation of cash prizes to the winners.

INTER - PLATOON VOLLEYBALL AND FOOTBALLL COMPETITIONS END AT NYSC ORIENTATION CAMP, AKWA IBOM STATE.

The State Coordinator, Mrs Ngozi Rosemary Akuagbaogu today presided over the finals of the Inter - Platoon Sports competition.

It was indeed an exciting experience as both teams played to the best of their skills and abilities.

At the end of the matches, the following results emerged :

Second Position (2nd) - Platoon 8
Third Position (3rd) - Platoon 7

*Football (Female)*
First Position (1st) - Platoon 3
Second Position (2nd) - Platoon 4
Third Position (3rd) - Platoon 2

First Position (1st) - Platoon 2
Second Position (2nd) - Platoon 9
Third Position (3rd) - Platoon 3

Highlight of the event was the presentation of Trophies and cash prizes.

SAED CLOSING CEREMONY AT THE NYSC ORIENTATION CAMP, AKWA IBOM STATE.

THE EVENT FEATURED EXHIBITION OF SKILL SECTS AND INTER - PLATOON SKILL COMPETITION.
THREE CORPS MEMBERS ALSO WON #500,000, #300,000 AND #200,000 RESPECTIVELY AS GRANT TO SUPPORT THEIR BUSINESS IDEAS. THE GRANT WAS SPONSORED BY CAPITAL UNITED PLC.
THE STATE COORDINATOR PRESIDED OVER THE EVENT.
