Dancers are not wayward people. They are creative professionals whose craft demands discipline, talent, resilience, and countless hours of practice. Through movement, they tell stories, preserve culture, entertain audiences, inspire communities, and create lasting memories.
Like musicians, actors, writers, and filmmakers, dancers are artists. Their profession should never be judged by outdated misconceptions or the actions of a few individuals.
Respect the art. Respect the profession. Respect the people behind the performance.
