Episode 2️⃣

As the days went by, Emeka found himself caught between two worlds. Aisha's love and support gave him the confidence to pursue his music, but his father's influence and wealth tempted him with a life of ease and security.

One evening, Emeka's father, Chief Obasi, summoned him to his opulent mansion in the affluent neighborhood of Banana Island. Emeka hesitated, but Aisha encouraged him to go, sensing that it was time he confronted his past.

As he arrived at the mansion, Emeka's memories came flooding back. He had grown up in this very house, surrounded by luxury and servants, but also loneliness and pressure. His father's words still echoed in his mind: "Music is a hobby, Emeka. Business is the future."

Chief Obasi received Emeka warmly, but his words were laced with disappointment. "Emeka, when will you grow up? You're wasting your life with that guitar. Join me, and I'll make you a wealthy man."

Emeka's instincts told him to flee, but Aisha's words kept him grounded: "Your music is your voice, Emeka. Don't let anyone silence it."

Just as Emeka was about to leave, his phone buzzed. It was a message from Aisha: "I believe in you, Emeka. Follow your heart."

With newfound determination, Emeka stood tall and told his father, "My music is my life, Papa. I won't give it up."

Chief Obasi's expression turned cold. "Fine, you're on your own. But don't come crawling back when you fail."

Emeka walked out of the mansion, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. He knew that he had made the right decision, and that Aisha's love and support would carry him through the tough times ahead.

As he hailed a taxi, Emeka's phone buzzed again. It was a message from a prominent music producer, requesting a meeting to discuss a possible record deal...

LAZINESS WITH A PRICE

Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a young man named Kofi. Kofi was A farmer who lived with his old mother. He was known throughout the village for his laziness and lack of planning.

One day, Kofi's mother fell ill, and as her condition worsened, Kofi was devastated. He had no money to pay for her treatment, so he decided to consult a local herbalist. The herbalist gave him a special herb and told him to plant it in his backyard.

Kofi was instructed to care for the herb and return with its fruit when it was ripe. The herbalist promised that the fruit would cure his mother's illness. Kofi was overjoyed and quickly planted the herb.

However, Kofi was lazy and didn't want to wait for the herb to grow. He would dig it up every few days to check if it had grown, only to replant it and hope for the best. As a result, the herb never grew, and eventually, it withered away.

Kofi's mother died, and he was left with nothing but regret. He realized too late that if he had patiently cared for the herb, it would have grown and saved his mother's life.

Lesson: Patience and perseverance are essential in achieving our goals. Kofi's lack of patience and laziness led to his loss. If he had waited and worked hard, he would have saved his mother's life. Hard work and patience can lead to great rewards.

"What are you doing , sir?" Akin asked.

"A tree of gratitude," the old man replied. "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When life gives you challenges, plant a tree and watch it grow."

Akin laughed. "How can a tree help me with my problems?"

The old man smiled. "This tree will remind you of the good things in life. As it grows, so will your gratitude."

Akin scoffed but decided to check on the tree weekly. Over time, he noticed it flourished despite harsh weather. One day, Akin's child fell ill. Desperate, he remembered the tree. Reflecting on its resilience, Akin felt gratitude for his child's life and support from loved ones. His child recovered, and Akin thanked the old man.
