I am Elsie Anietie Peters, AMNIM, CINTA, the 7th Head of the Akwa Ibom State Civil Service and the 4th woman to hold this prestigious office. With over two decades of distinguished service in administration, security intelligence, public service management, and workforce development, my career has been dedicated to strengthening institutions and building a Civil Service that
works for the people. I hold advanced degrees in Public Administration, Public Order & Information Management, Sociology, and Communication Arts — supported by extensive international trainings in security, intelligence, leadership, and service delivery. My work across the Governor’s Office, the Office of the Head of Civil Service, and various security-related capacities has prepared me to lead with integrity, discipline, compassion, and excellence. My vision is to build a professional, ICT-driven, ethical, loyal, and efficient Civil Service, fully aligned with the ARISE Agenda of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, Ph.D. I believe in faithfulness, teamwork, capacity building, and the power of a disciplined workforce to transform society. As a servant-leader, I am committed to inspiring a Civil Service that delivers value, embraces innovation, and upholds the highest standards of public service. Faith in God, loyalty to duty, and service to the people remain the pillars of my leadership.
