THANK YOU VISIT FROM MY IMMEDIATE NEIGHBORS.

Today, I had the honour of receiving a thank-you visit from my immediate neighbors from the Anguwan Yungur community, Jabbi–Lamba. The visit was to express their appreciation for the provision of clean and portable water in their area through the installation of industrial boreholes—a development they described as the first of its kind in their community.

The representatives of the community leaders—Mr. Soso Tamin, Mr. Danladi Baba Viay, and Mrs. Dikko—warmly conveyed the community’s gratitude to the administration of His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and the leadership of the SDGs in the state for making this important project possible.

In my response, I sincerely appreciated their thoughtful visit and kind words. I also encouraged them to continue praying for our boss, H.E. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, whose visionary leadership and commitment have given us the opportunity to deliver the true dividends of democracy to our people.

Moments like this remind us that development is meaningful when it positively impacts the lives of communities. We remain committed to serving our people and supporting initiatives that improve their well-being.

SDGs SPECIAL VISIT TO ANGUWAN ABUJA, GIREI II WARD
Saturday, 21st February 2026

On Saturday, 21st February 2026, I had the honour of leading a special visit to Anguwan Abuja Community in Girei II Ward as the Focal Person of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Adamawa State.

Our visit commenced with a courtesy call to the respected elder statesman of Anguwan Abuja, M.D Joshua. After warmly receiving us, he expressed his appreciation for the government’s attention to grassroots communities. He further directed the Chairman of Anguwan Abuja Development Forum, Michel Amos Sunday, to accompany us to the selected project locations to ensure proper guidance and community representation.

We sincerely appreciate the community leadership for their support, solidarity, and cooperation throughout the visit. Their unity and commitment to development clearly reflect a community that is ready for growth and transformation.

The people of Anguwan Abuja Community indeed have every reason to celebrate, as this visit signals that impactful and people-oriented interventions are on the way.

Under the visionary leadership of the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and through the commitment of the SDGs Office, this engagement represents another significant step toward grassroots development and inclusive progress across Adamawa State.

The visit reaffirms the government’s unwavering dedication to improving the lives of the people in Girei Local Government Area, particularly at the ward and community levels. Anguwan Abuja Community can confidently look forward to meaningful interventions that will enhance infrastructure, social welfare, and overall development in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Indeed, something good is unfolding for the resilient and supportive people of Girei II Ward and the entire Adamawa State.

A HISTORIC VISIT AND A TESTAMENT TO VISIONARY LEADERSHIP.

Today marks a historic and remarkable moment for Adamawa State as His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, visits Yola for the commissioning of landmark projects executed by the administration of our amiable Governor, His Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

This visit is not just ceremonial — it is a powerful recognition of purposeful leadership, prudent management of resources, and a clear developmental vision that has redefined governance in Adamawa State.

Under the dynamic and people-oriented leadership of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Adamawa has witnessed transformative strides in infrastructure, healthcare, education, urban renewal, and rural development. Roads that were once impassable are now motorable. Schools and healthcare facilities have been rehabilitated and upgraded. Critical projects that directly impact the lives of ordinary citizens are being delivered with transparency and accountability.

The coming of Mr. President to Yola today is a strong signal that Adamawa State is firmly on the path of progress. It underscores the fact that good governance transcends political lines when the ultimate goal is development and service to the people.

Politically, this visit reflects maturity, unity, and cooperation in leadership. It demonstrates that beyond party affiliations, governance is about collaboration for national growth. Governor Fintiri has continued to show that leadership is about results — not noise — and that the true measure of politics is the positive impact on citizens.

The commissioning of these projects stands as a testament to a government that understands its responsibility to its people. It is proof that Adamawa State is not only keeping pace with development but setting standards in sustainable and inclusive governance.

As we warmly receive Mr. President today, we do so with pride — pride in our Governor, pride in the achievements recorded, and pride in the promising future ahead.

In line with the efforts of the Adamawa State Government under the dynamic leadership of His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, we are fully prepared to welcome His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to Yola today Monday, 16th February 2026, for the commissioning of newly constructed projects executed by the Adamawa State Government.

The Adamawa State Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Office, under my leadership, is proud to complement the efforts of our Governor through the beautification of Yola metropolis with billboards and place cards to warmly receive Mr. President.

This visit marks another significant milestone in our collective commitment to infrastructural development and good governance. ADAMAWA STATE SDGs OFFICE MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT AWARENESS CAMPAIGN YOLA SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

In line with its commitment to improving menstrual hygiene practices among adolescent girls, the Adamawa State Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Office, in partnership with the Fabel Foundation for Women and Youths Development, is currently implementing a menstrual hygiene awareness campaign in Yola South Local Government Area.

The campaign focuses on sensitizing secondary school girls on proper menstrual health management, while equipping them with essential information and support to promote self-confidence, personal dignity, and overall well-being.

We extend our profound appreciation to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for his unwavering support and for creating an enabling environment that allows initiatives like this to thrive in the pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals across the state.

Adamawa state SDGs Office MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT AWARENESS CAMPAIGN in Girei Local Government.

As part of our ongoing efforts to promote menstrual hygiene awareness among secondary school girls across Adamawa State, the Adamawa State Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Office, in collaboration with the Fabel Foundation for Women and Youths Development, is in Girei Local Government to carry out these important activities.

This initiative is aimed at educating and empowering young girls with the knowledge and resources needed to manage menstrual health with dignity, confidence, and safety.

We sincerely thank His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for providing us with the opportunity to serve the good people of Adamawa State and for his continued support toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
