With some inspiration from a Sugru user in Australia and a Twitter conversation with Sugru themselves I have just come up with this. Tactile controls on a dishwasher for those who have a visual impairment. Hope this helps!

Here is a taster of something I have been thinking about for a long time and I have finally started working on it. It is my first look at the Inclusivity of where we as a society live. I have decided to start with a kitchen, with the next stop very likely to be a bathroom.

The picture shows a draft 3D scale model of our small and compact kitchen here in our apartment in Oslo, with the window on the far wall. The model is very much work in progress. It is far from finished, there are lots more details to add :-).

It is also a good excuse to brush up on my drawing skills which were getting very rusty. I just love Sketchup.

Happy New Year to you all. Hope you all had a nice Christmas and New Year.

There is plenty activity at IncludeYou right now. Prototypes are in production. The kitchen at home will soon we a scene of lots of activity :-). More news and updates to follow.

A friend from my days in Stavanger posted a link to some great commercials from the Norwegian Blind Association. As a total dog lover, this is one of my favourites! It really made me smile on this snowy Tuesday morning.

It is super important for me to see a humouristic side to the different challenges people face in life.

The main of what I am trying to do with IncludeYou is to drive forward as best I can social inclusion. I came across this video from Switzerland yesterday. I think it is great. We are not all perfect, and the theme of the video has given me some ideas for project myself. Hope you like this!
