The grand exciting chariot fest of Panauti Desh Jatra is today.
The chariot of Bhadrakali is the central figure of Panauti Desh Jatra or Jya Punhi Jatra.
On the full moon day of Tachala: [Jya Punhi], after the chariosts are driven around Panauti, the ritual of Dyah Lwakegu is performed in Layaku Square. This Dyah Lwakegu ritual involves collision of chariot of Bhadrakali shown above with the chariots of Bhairav and Mahadev.

The main chariot fest of Panauti Desh Jatra is tomorrow on Asar 15.
The chariot of Unmatta Bhairav is one of the central elements of Panauti Desh Jatra or Jya Punhi Jatra. While the Unmatta Bhairav Temple in Panauti permanently houses a massive 8-foot wooden statue facing west, a smaller 5-foot festival icon is carried during the Jya Punhi Jatra. While the wheels are made from Salwood and Sisau, the frame are made from Chilaune.

Every year for four Lunar months starting from Gathamungal Chare to Sakimana Punhi a daily bhajan is organized in the towns of Kathmandu Valley and surrounding called Chaturmas Bhajan. Today we look at one of the such Bhajan talking about Goddess Bhramhayani of Panauti

पनौतीको चतुर्मास भजन अन्तर्गत ब्रह्मायणी देवीलाई समर्पण गरी गाईनी भजनको विशेष महत्व छ। ब्रह्मायणी देवी पनौतीको प्रमुख देवी हुन् ।
आजको यस भिडियोमा हामी यही भजन लिएर आएका छौँ।
यो भजनमा पनौतीको मुख्य देवी ब्रह्मायणी साथसाथै अष्टमात्रिका धनञ्जय बासुकी नाग को महिमा वर्णन गरिएको छ।
यो भजनमा पनौतीको त्रिवेणी धामलाई उत्तर प्रयागको रूपमा वर्णन गरिएको छ।
