a stone circle is assembled on unceded Māori land. marking a meeting ground, a wāhi tapu.
from the landscapes of Celtic-tongued people, this lithic tradition is reinterpreted and offered as a site of relation-making, burial and possibility.

an ephemeral sonic tapestry and embodied dialogue will unfold each pō through movement artists Ehetere, + Kensa, alongside musicians 💚 olivia grace 💚 on the Cello, WAIWHAI. on tāonga puoro, modified saxophone and synths, and Jadyn Flavell also on tāonga puoro.

We have 7 days left until the Boosted Fundraiser closes and we are just over $3000 away from reaching our target, but, in an almost pre-planned co-incidence, the painting we created as part of the season 1 Essence exhibition is also that much!!

At the beginning of each rehearsal, we would all sit round the canvas and paint while we talked about the show, initially we were going to paint the Nihon/Japan Red Sun with the Koru going through the middle but it ended up being the Tino Rangatiratanga symbol - of Self Determination, which summed up our ambition and determination to get to the finish line quite perfectly!

Season 2 is 20 days away! We are straight into rehearsals with the cast (yes that's them! Ahhh) and full steam ahead to the show. Tickets are live and only one thing is missing - funds to break even! We want to make sure we can pay for the Theatre and our phenomenal talent onstage and in the tech booth!
