Tomorrow - The World Mission Society Church of God is hosting their 1,910th Worldwide Passover Love Life Sharing Blood Drive Relay at Epsom Donor Centre from 10.00am - 7.00pm.
The World Mission Society Church of God (General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol, hereinafter referred to as the Church of God) is practicing life-saving sharing through the “Worldwide Passover Love Life Sharing Blood Drive Relay.”
On the 4th, the 1,910th blood drive relay will be held at NZ Blood Service in Epsom, Auckland. About 80 participants, including Church members and local citizens, are expected to take part, and the New Zealand Blood Service will provide medical personnel to ensure safe blood collection.
The Church of God’s blood drive relay began in 2005 and, as of March this year, has been carried out in 68 countries around the world, including Korea, the United States, Germany, Brazil, Australia, the Philippines, and Zimbabwe. Through 1,744 blood donation events, more than 315,000 people participated, and over 136,000 donated blood, helping spread a culture of respect for life. Since one blood donation can save up to three lives, these efforts are estimated to have helped save approximately 410,000 lives.
Last year alone, 118 people in New Zealand donated a total of 41,480 mL of healthy blood, helping promote a culture of voluntary unpaid blood donation and the value of sharing life.
